Re: Need new Prodigy power supply!
Thanks guys ... Currently she's up and running with the 2amp beast until a smaller one comes in the mail. I am having a new issue with my tuning trimpots. Seems the pots I got are single turn despite asking the sales person repeatedly to send multiturns ... blah but ok. I realized it only upon first...

Re: Need new Prodigy power supply!
I finally picked up a transformer from a local electric supplier. A little off topic but I had called them twice and was quoted two different prices ... interestingly enough when i got there I was told they had two in stock, one from China for $18 and one from Canada for $25. I asked for the Canadia...

Re: Need new Prodigy power supply!
Merci aliensixes! You've been keeping my head above water with what I thought was going to be a key replacement and cleaning ONLY! ;) I swapped 4 new Bourne tuning pots, fixed two switches, resoldered some LHC wires and the ol' girl played like the day she left the line ... all until my power supply...

Need new Prodigy power supply!
My Prodigy has a corroded base to one of the three circuit board wires coming out of it's step down, power supply transformer. The wire and connection plate came off in my hand upon inspection and it looks to me that the thing is toast. Does anyone have any information on a replacement? The prodigy ...

Re: Need an early top C for Prodigy
Thanks fellas, I sourced one from Archive Sound ([email protected]). They are listed as mini keys but the other early moog models use the same 34U style P&R keyboard. Phhhhhewwwww! Cheers!

Re: Moog Prodigy Tuning Trimpots
Haha, Actually a great Radiohead song and a sarcastic username ;) Thanks for the hints. I pulled the board and realized that indeed my OSC 1 Scale trimpot has a broken pin and that the OSC 2 Range trim pot had been replaced with a 20k Ohm. I'd like to swap them all for four, new, matched pots ... ch...

Moog Prodigy Tuning Trimpots
Hi y'all ... 'Just grabbed a prodigy to clean up and am looking to replace all of the tuning trimpots. Bummer design, and a few have been bent back and forth enough to be on their last legs. I'm assuming any ol' 10K trimpot would be fine but was wondering if anyone had recommendations on quality one...

Update... I've done a little scouring. #4 board is still up in the air but maybe some promising leads. I found another original #1 so hopefully between that and you Kevin, I can sleep easy about Osc boards. I popped the other mini's boards in for kicks the other night and the thing actually played q...
