Voyager (electric blue) Calibration. . . .
Hi All, I recall that a process for this was on a Gearslutz page. Gearslutz is down right now for some reason, and I'm impatient. Does anyone have a pdf of this or something? I'm not too bad with electronics but haven't done this calibration before so I'd prefer to find as many details as possible. ...

Re: post your voyager sounds
To be honest, it was all MIDI. I am a pianist though and I can play it :) . It's just that I found my Finale version of this piece which I transcribed in my student days (I trained in composition), and I realised pulling the MIDI from it to turn into a synth tune would be an afternoon's work, and I ...

Re: Claim of delays on Grandmother on Gearslutz
Yeah I'm hoping a Moog person can pop in here and set things straight.
After that by all means you guys can return to blasting Gearslutz.

Claim of delays on Grandmother on Gearslutz
Hi All, There is a dude on Gearslutz who says he dropped into the Moog factory and was told that no more Grandmothers are in production beyond the initial Moogfest units due to delays on parts. This seems suspicious to me for two reasons. 1) it was that person's very first post. 2) this would be wei...

7 Yr old Voyager. . . Capacitors?
Hey All, I have a Voyager which works perfectly, except to say that it periodically freezes on the front screen and partially or wholly shuts down. A switch on and off usually resolves the problem. It is intermittent and doesn't seem to have gotten worse, but it does need fixing as it's a source of ...

Re: Voyager =/= Model D
Thank you!
Donut Dude, yep, it's loud and a little silly! It's certainly not the only kind of music I make but I need to get this crazy synth stuff out of my system every so often

Re: Voyager =/= Model D
Awesome on all fronts!!! Great video production and insane voyages to the bottom of the C's. Kudos to the upcoming Jedi's in the background for redirecting the Force of the Voyager towards LAB Vader. Looking forward to the Sequel ... The Model D Strikes Back ... :-) Ha ha ha :) :) Lab Vader. (Thoug...

Re: Voyager =/= Model D
Thanks everyone, One of the reasons I made it is because the Voyager unfairly gets a bad rap when compared to the Model D. People say it's not as aggressive, not as lively, and other things besides. Of all my synths (I've had a few, though not a Model D), it's definitely the most organic, lively and...

Voyager =/= Model D
These two so often get compared, but what I like about my Voyager is that it is so unlike any other synth, probably including the D (though I've never played one). The strengths of the Voyager - its modulation options, its third osc which can work as another modulation source, its extremely round, s...

Re: Pimp my Voyager
Thanks! Yep, I'm aware of these possibilities. I'm also interested in people's testimonials about what they've been able to achieve with this or other gear, and what it sounds like.
