Re: Moog Little Phatty: next firmware upgrade suggestion
Also there needs to be an option for the arpeggiator and LFO to sync from the synths internal clock. Couldn't the Phatty use its own output clock as the source of rate subdivisions?

So this is weird, I see no ins or outs. Then does that mean that the plugs are in the back?

Good, maybe this will stop people from polluting the forum with concerns that Moog is going digital.

I'll second that notion.

Re: Mod Buss pre-Amount CV Out (Pros & Cons?)
When I ordered the factory CV mod from the Moog factory, I was not aware that there was an option. Recently, I modified my Phatty's modulation output to be pre mod wheel. I find it to be more useful when using the Phatty both as a controller and a sound source.

Re: CV output controlling modular equipment
I was just poking around and found what I believe to be the pre-attenuated modulation source. I moved the original connection to an unlabelled resistor in between Q7 and Q8(LP StageII). The wire was connected to the leg that heads to a via. The other(unused) leg goes into Pin 3 of the lm13700. So fa...

The internal oscillators don't budge. Good point.Sore_Knee wrote: to confirm this, when you load up the CV out, does the pitch of the LP change too?

Re: CV output controlling modular equipment
Good to know. Is it the same for the envelope and mod bus outs as well? Before I get started here, let me tell you know that I am not an electrical engineer of any sorts. As far as the other outputs go, no noticeable changes. I drove 3 to 4 sources from all of them and didn't notice much when the s...

CV output controlling modular equipment
I bought a Little Phatty a few years back when I heard that there was a CV Out mod in the works. It was a selling point because I knew that I would eventually build a modular system in the future and I needed a controller. Therefor the Phatty served two purposes: stand alone synth and a controller f...

mowg: How much tinkering are we talking here? Can you post pics or list the problems? The Rogue is a simple synth, it should be a easy fix.

Great job! Any chance that you will share the board art? I would love to add this to my modular system.

Definitely cheaper if you have a bipolar power supply sitting around.banyek wrote:the same issue could be solved with a CP-251 too, though the Doepfer module is the cheapest solution.

Re: New Firmware v3.1 for Slim Phatty, LP Stage and Tribute
Has anybody been able to sync the LFO to the ARP? It has been perfectly possible when syncing to an external clock signal but not when syncing to internally. I'm quite sure I did this in the past with the firmware 2.x. Am I doing something wrong or is it just that is not possible any more? A firmwa...
