Re: Daisy chained voyagers
The key to sequencing Voyagers or for controlling two at once is control voltage. If you're trying to automate then you would use Expert Sleepers Silent Way (either with their hardware or any DC coupled interface such as the Motus). For live tweaking/playing you can control the second Voyager using ...

Re: Here it is...
So what about us RME owners? No setscrews on our knobs and the cutoff filter knob is slightly smaller than on the full sized Voyager. How do these work on an RME? Amos?

Re: Voyager tuning
Careful though, there's no mention of the proper way to tune osc 3. Here's the exerpt as it appears in the tuning guide: "Note on Osc 3 tuning: Osc 3 has the tendency to sync with Osc 2. You may find it helpful to de-tune Osc 2 before tuning Osc3. Go to “init parameters” and turn Osc 1 off. The...

Re: Voyager tuning
Ive found that every now and then I have to re-tune my electric blue. The weird thing is I tune all 3 osc's to be the same at the 0 setting but after a few days (without moving the Voyager) I need to tune osc's 2&3 to -2 in order to match with osc 1. It definitely can take a few additional nudg...

Re: Balanced or unbalanced outputs
Another thing... is it okay to use a balanced cable within a line of unbalanced cables and the Voyager set to unbalanced, will it just ignore the extra part of balanced cables? yeah that should be fine for the interim. btw, if you want a great sounding little interface to replace your old duet the ...

Re: Balanced or unbalanced outputs
With nearly any interface you can plug both unbalanced and balanced into it. It's generally best to go with balanced when you have the option though. Thanks for the store recommendation, unfortunately for me not everyone is from America  I have to get 2 cables for each output because I have to...

Re: Balanced or unbalanced outputs
Not so fast!!!! Whether you want to use balanced or unbalanced cables depends on what you are connecting. If you're connecting your RME to a balanced input then you obviously want to use a balanced cable and have the RME switched to balanced. Your audio interface for eg will typically be a balanced ...

Re: Voyager PlugSE Logic Problem
Yeah, I can't say it instills confidence when a software company's website looks straight out of the 90s. These guys are some grade A level slackers for sure. Moog should cut their losses with ST and hire a more reliable developer. The premium analog gear company shouldn't be monkeying around with a...

Re: Problem with MINI MOOG VOYAGER EDITOR 3.7.0 Sound Tower
Forget about ever getting a response from sound tower. Those guys are BRUTAL. It's pretty common to get no response from them. A ST guy posted a few times here in the forum and when people brought up the communication issue he said they don't have time to follow up forum posts all over the net but D...

I'm a bit disappointed I haven't seen any lunar stuff with normal wood sides. Maple, mahogany, etc would also look sharp as hell!

Did they make it to market? Was it just a short run? I can't find pics of them anywhere.

Re: Slew Rate Mod
For those really interested in bringing out tones & high freqs from the voyager I highly recommend a UBK Clariphonic. For those on a budget they did just launch a plugin version but I don't know how it measures up. I have a BBE sonic maximizer as well but it's obviously a different league. The C...

Re: Controlling the voyager via CV from Volta or Silent way?
it's starting to seem like an interesting angle. I'm not too impressed with midi and Silent way is only $65 plus gives you LFOs etc
http://www.expert-sleepers.co.uk/silentway.html
I already have a DC coupled (Motu) interface to use for the CV interface.
