Where was it announced that only 1000 tribute editions would be made? I haven't seen it anywhere and I certainly hope they won't limit production now because I still haven't got mine. My local retailer only got ten of these so far and they went to orderers that were earlier in the queue than me.

All retailers in Europe that I know of are out of stock. Anyone know where I could get one of these in Europe?

Hopefully Moog can sort the issues with Little phatty firmware updates soon, as the issues have been around since May 2009 when 2.2 was first released if I´m not mistaken.. Sure seems like Moog could use more firmware programmers to overcome these challenges quicker.

A couple of things I haven't found an answer for about Slim Phatty:

- Are there any pictures available anywhere of the optional wooden sides?

- What are the dimensions of the bottom of the Slim Phatty ? I know the dimensions are listed in the product page, but it seems the unit widens towards the ...

Does anyone know of a midi keyboard that would be the same width as SP and otherwise minimalistic in design?

I mean this with no disrespect, but how can it take months to fix critical bugs in a synth firmware? Lil' Phatty is not very high priority at Moog it seems.

I think the problem is that this Amos guy seems to be pretty much doing all the firmware coding himself.

He said in another thread that Little Phatty fixes had to wait because he was doing the Taurus firmware now. I don't think that's acceptable.

It appears to be a common fault updating an early OS to the very latest when done via MIDI. I can't think why the incremental updates are not all on the site, since this is a known fault.

After the Taurus v1.0 firmware is done, I'll be revisiting the LP... we're planning a change to the firmware update process to reduce if not eliminate the chance of this update failure occurring. Sorry for the trouble!

Well, I contacted a reseller here in Europe, and the extra cost for having this update preinstalled was equivalent to almost $600.

I guess I'll have to do without Little Phatty for now.
