Re: Received!

Received my T3 yesterday from a dealer in Moscow, Russia. Finally! I knew it was not a portable device by any means, however I was really floored (pun intended) by the sheer size and weight of this thing. I am yet to master the "ugly monster" (that's what my wife called it), still even fro...

Re: Oscillators leaking through

Thanks for your responses everyone.

I've tried to run it through the direct box and headphones - zero noise unless you set the boost level of the DI to 8 or 9, which I never do.

Sounds exactly like me. Same problem. Can hear it only with the amp volume knob cranked though. Shitty solid state amp, just like yours. No leakage through the headphones. Could be normal I guess?

I'm going to try it through a DI tonight. Let's see what happens.

Oscillators leaking through

Having purchased an OS a couple of months ago I noticed that all 3 oscillators and also the noise generator leak through if I turn up the amp really loud, regardless of the Voyager volume knob setting. This leaked sound is pretty quiet and not really noticable when amp is played on normal volumes. I...

I believe there should be some sort of mould on the inside of the cover to keep the T3 from moving around. Otherwise it would just rattle all over the case.

Does T3 need dedicated amplification when playing live or can it be just run through a direct box to the sound board?

Interesting, thanks for the input, Eric. It will be interesting to see what people will be coming up with when they get their T3s. It seems like I'm at the end of the line, so there will be plenty of time to decide what it needs, I guess.

Thanks, superd2112. Yes, I was also thinking about the Murf, I guess I might try that one first. Not sure about the road case, since I did not order from Moog directly, but from an authorised dealer. I guess I should check with them and see if they can still order one for me, provided that it is pos...

Taurus and Moogerfooger pedals

Hi, I'm new to Analogue Synths but I decided to start my journey with the Taurus 3, which I already ordered through the local dealer. I'm a bass player, that probably explains why I chose T3 as a starting point. I was wondering what Moogerfoogers would work best with Taurus 3 in terms of expanding t...
