MIDI is notes and PGM change only.
Manual is separate.
Might be online. I don't know.

Re: LFO Clicking
I think you're hearing the click due to: 1. The filter cutoff is at minimum, allowing only very low frequencies to pass. I wouldn't expect to hear much at that setting. 2. The filter modulation polarity is negative, driving the filter cutoff frequency even lower. If the LFO is allowed to pass even t...

Re: MIDI Freezing/detuning Moog Gear [Help}
Are you sending MIDI beat clock or MTC? MTC could cause problems. You only need beat clock. If any devices use active sensing, turn it off or filter it out. If you can, monitor the MIDI output from Logic. Maybe something else is being sent. It sounds like your devices are being hit with a datastorm.

Re: Sub Phatty broken key
It may have been Youtube where i saw the info, but I can't search YT because my browser is too old.
It should be the four screws you mentioned. Note that the cable(s) connecting the keyboard will restrict how far out it will go.

Re: Sub Phatty broken key
There are some threads on this forum and others that will have more details than I, but.. The keyboard itself is very easy to remove, only a few screws on the bottom of the unit. You can pull the keyboard out and compare your faulty key with the normal ones. You may have had a spring pop out or a pa...

Re: Sequencer transpose bug?
You don't mention MIDI. Is MIDI connected in your patch? If I use MIDI clock and connect the gate out to run/stop, each note tries to stop the sequence while the MIDI clock tries to restart it. Not good. I would not connect the gate out to run/stop, as each note you play will start/stop the sequence...

Re: lfo modulation
My version: 1. Patch LFO out to Mix2 input. 2. Patch assign output to VC Mix Control input. 3. Patch VC Mix output to VCO Mod input. 4. Set VC Mix knob full CCW. 5. Set VCO Mod Source switch to VCO Mod. 6. Set VCO Mod Amount knob to about 8 o'clock. 7. Set Assign output to MIDI modulation wheel. (Mo...

Re: Minitaur w/ Foot Pedals
I would start out with the volume envelope set up like this:
Attack = 0
Decay = 0
Sustain = 100%
Release = 0
You can add a bit more attack and release, but not much. Decay is not needed here.

Re: Looking for KB out advice
You need a "signal processor" or "offset generator" that will add 5 volts to your -5/5 volt signal and make it 0/10 volt signal. They are available in several modular formats.

Re: Lost Power During Firmware Update (Sub Phatty)
If you turn on the Sub Phatty and only the LFO LED is blinking slowly, with no other activity on the unit, this means the Sub Phatty bootloader is waiting for you to send firmware. Make sure you're using good cables and your software is set up correctly, and send the firmware file again.

Re: Over Attenuation on Filter & Mixer?
Item 1 is a common way for resonant filters to behave. There will be variance in designs, and the type of waveform sent to the filter can affect response too.
Item 2 is normal behavior. It is described just as you are experiencing it in the owner's manual.

Search for the ARP 2600 Owner's Manual. One of the best I have read.
The Roland synthesizer books are also an excellent resource.

Re: Having trouble setting up one volt per octave
Do you have the gate out of your Minibrute (MB) connected to the VCA in of the Werkstatt (WS)? You will need that to play the WS from the MB.
You can also try turning the VCA mode on the WS to "ON" to get a constant output to calibrate.

Re: 104m lfo Sync?
You can enable and disable LFO MIDI sync by sending the unit MIDI CC#108. Values of 0-63 disable sync, values 64-127 enable sync. (You only need to send a 0 [Off] or 127 [On].) Other MIDI messages are on pages 23 and 24 of the manual.
