Re: Midi to CV converter for Voyager Old School

I hear that, EricK. It would be great to be able to modulate modulation depth. Actually, you can kind of do this if you have the VX-351 Expander (or some other repeatable external gate trigger). It's not quite what you're talking about, but you might be interested in trying this out:

Voyager Old School Does Not Track Properly

[/quote]The more I study the OS, it's a little marvel of analog electronics precision. The whole thing can't be. Nahh my guess is more simple. Support call was fed that day to a young support service person (i bet not an engineer of those circuits), who, after skating a little, caught off guard, fed ...

I noticed this problem when I first tried a Voyager at a music store about four years ago. I was really excited to use an actual analog synthesizer, and I couldn't wait to max the filter's resonance and do a full, slow turn of the knob. I was constantly frustrated by my Korg MX's digital stepping ...

I noticed this same problem when I first tried out the Voyager at a music shop. I couldn't believe my ears when I heard that digital aliasing on an all analog signal path. It completely turned me off from getting a Voyager until the Old School came out. I bought one of those, despite the ridiculous ...

I know what it's like to lose a rad patch, so I took some time to try to figure out how you had made that sound, and I think I pretty much found it. I did this on the Voyager OS, so it's possible that the calibrations are slightly different than the model you may have, but it's likely that they're ...

Your synth is totally fine. I first noticed this same "quirk" with my Macbeth M5N, and I ended up using it to good effect. If you want to do a good, smooth sweep of anything controlled by that envelope, just turn up the decay and sweep the sustain. The decay setting controls how long it takes for ...
