Re: 1.13 FW minor issue

The trick that Amos suggested work, thanks! Apologies if the implication was that it was a bug.

Not sure I understand the negativity surrounding my question. Yes, they're called bass pedals but they support higher octaves and there are no right or wrong ways to create music. Why would I want to ...

1.13 FW minor issue

If I modify the Taurus preset (A2), change the octave parameter to HI, and also toggle the octave footswitch
on, and then hit the high C note it sounds like the B-freq is the same as the main freq. It loses that
Taurus sound characteristic. All of the other notes are fine, it's just the high C that ...

Re: Xanadu BY RUSH

The new Rush tour started last night in Albuquerque. Not 100% sure, but looking closely at some of the photos
that have surfaced it would appear that Geddy has the T3!

T3's Taurus preset

Received the T3 on Monday and have only played with it very briefly. I did notice that (to my ears) the Taurus 1 preset is just a tad off on the "b freq" parameter. Not really a complaint, it's probably just a calibration issue?

100% satisfied so far, thanks Moog!

Ordered August 17 2009 and just received the confirming email from Siobhan. Woohoo!

Re: taurus turn it on again

If I recall correctly, the doc was on the VHS version but didn't make it on to the DVD version.

Re: taurus turn it on again

It's running through a delay pedal which provides 1 repeat at the same volume as the played note. He actually demonstrates this on the We Can't Dance tour documentary.

I'm pretty the Xanadu part in question was played both live and in the studio using just the variable sound on the T1.

I'm referring to the Hemispheres version. Oddly, I'm not familiar enough with the ESL version... will listen later.

I've noticed that some time ago they stopped playing the bass pedals in the bridge of "The Spirit of Radio" entirely and haven't for about 20 years now. Geddy even uses a ...

Wolf2112: I'll check out those song sections when I get home tonight. Are you talking studio version or the version on Exit Stage Left? For the Hemispheres version I bet they played them with their hands and were able to quickly hit the octave button. I guess I made the assumption that we were ...

In hindsight, I was going to say that the "La Villa" part I'm thinking of was played on a set of Taurus 2's, which Alex did use, but the 2's didn't arrive on the scene until "Moving Pictures"... yet there's still clearly two "A's" played, one octave apart (not in unison). The sequence of A-D-E-D-A ...

Can you be more specific? The original was played live by Rush on Taurus Is without this feature.

Excellent, thanks!

I've owned my T1 for about 20 years and have it fixed 3-4 times. Each time it works for a few years but then fails again. Currently only the low C and C# keys work consistently. Very frustrating.

pedal contact mechanism on T3

I'm sure this has been mentioned before but I can't locate any details. What will the design of the pedal contacts be? More durable/less prone to "missing notes" than the T1?
