There is no way to know what voltage that device would be supplying, so idn't there the possibility of breaking something? No. If you use a TS patch cable (no ring), the ring supply is shorted to ground and it is safe by design. Upstream from the plug's ring is a circuit designed to let flow a smal...

Thanks Amos!

It worked. Setting all the channels to Expression gives me exactly what I was after and behaves as I expected Quad MONO to behave.

Thanks!

Well, I can get it to work how I want in Momentary mode with two exceptions: 1) The lights don't turn on to indicate what the last PC change sent was - i.e. it won't indicate what patch I selected on my guitar rig 2) Can't seem to use expression channel mode to send a PC when I enable the expression...

quote from V2.0 addendum:: "(2) QUAD MONO/POLY - Selects how channel On/Off foot switches behave in Quad Mode. MONO = only one channel on at a time. " Hey Lord, thanks for trying to help. The quote you've put here is exactly why I thought QUAD MONO would work for me. "Only one channe...

Guitar Feature Request - QUAD "One Hot" Mode

Well, I'm on my second approach trying to get this pedal to work for me. Here's what I wanted to do this time around: 1) Use SGL mode as "Song" mode. Where each patch on the MP-201 represented a song for me. 2) In that song, I'd want to access up to 4 different sounds. These sounds would b...

The selector knob is sketchy. I would think that would be the first thing to break. Everything else feels rock solid. The selector knob feels like it might fall off on its own.

Amos confirmed the behavior via e-mail.

Looks like this has been read 136 times. Out of 136 of you, you've never accidentally toggled Ch3 when switching from QD mode to SGL mode?

Guitar Feature Request - Gate WAH mode

I'm trying to program the MP-201 to work with my Digi Eleven Rack, and I just came really close to configuring the WAH pedal the way I wanted, but I'm not able to get there. On this device the wah's enable or bypass in controlled by a MIDI CC. The wah's range is controlled by another MIDI CC or by a...

Can Someone Confirm this Behavior RE: Switching Modes

I think I've got a much better understanding of what's going on. I've boiled it down to this: - When switching from SGL to QD Mode, the "required" method for pressing Button 1 and Button 3 is to _first_ hit Button 3 and _then_ hit Button 1. Amos specifically mentions this in his newest dem...
