Re: Sharing my Moog Sub 37-only arrangements

Cool! It's interesting to hear layered Sub-37.
Nice job on the details.

Re: Best Midi Keyboard for Model 15 App?

How much of a delay is there with a Bluetooth keyboard? Is it noticeable at all? I was considering getting a camera converter to avoid that if got a keyboard for a portable rig. There isn't enough to bother me. The main reason is that it's only MIDI that's being Bluetoothed, not audio, which needs ...

Re: Matriarch delay time

Here's my post from Gearslutz: A clarification of the Matriarch's PING PONG Delay: I consider true Stereo Ping Pong behavior to be: Send a single, short audio blip into a monaural in of a delay. Realtime blip is centered (both Left and Right Outs) First delayed blip is Left Out only (XXXms later) Ne...

Re: Grandmother - Eurorack oscillator

I want to play the Roland oscillator with the keyboard from the Grandmother. (The Roland oscillator is always running btw). I connect the keyboard out from the Grandmother to the key/pitch in on the Roland system (i know its the correct input). When i press a note on the keyboard the Roland oscilla...

Re: Matriarch delay mix issue

You could just put unconnected cables into the STEREO DELAY INPUT 1 and INPUT 2 jacks, thus bypassing any input into the two delays.

Are Sub 37 & Subsequent 37 presets compatable? Can i put Sub 37 presets on my Subsequent 37?
Hi William,

I do it all the time. You can tweak MIXER, FEEDBACK (FDBK), and MULTIDRIVE settings if you don't like the slight changes in gain staging. But you may just like them just as they are.

Re: Saving sequences from PITCH CV

I'm running a sequence from my eurorack system into the PITCH CV of the SUB 37 and I'd like to save the pitch sequence to the Sub 37. I thought that after each gate sent to the KB GATE it would input a step while in REC mode but it doesn't seem to do anything. Is this method of programming the sequ...

Re: Help with Moog Rogue effect on Subsequent 37

The effect I’m trying to do live is slowly but continuously pitching up OSC 2 until it settles at one octave above OSC 1. Is there any way to expand the pitch range? Is there any way to use mod or any menu options to help? Thanks!! Hi real_eggs, Assign CONST ON [Constant On] as one of your MODs' PG...

Re: Compressor for the Minitaur live

Though after listening more carefully, there’s quite some noticeable clicking noise when the LFO ducks the volume. Not at all pleasant... What could cause the click noise on the Minitaur? Hi MBlom. Any time you rapidly and dramatically change the volume of a sound (especially with sounds using simp...

Thank you MC!

It's so hard to remember everything about every model.

New Moog Model 10 Video

Hi Gang,

I got to have just a little time with a Moog Model 10:

I'm sure the folks lucky enough to own and live with Moog modulars will find some factual errors and patching inefficiencies, but I hope that I did it some justice anyway :-)

If I plug in a sustain pedal and hold the pedal down and play a series of notes, only some of the notes trigger.
I think that may have to do with which Voice Mode you're using, and what Note Priority type is chosen.

Re: Matriarch Issues

If I plug cables into the second Attenuator, then the first Attenuator controls filter cutoff (no cables in the first Attenuator at all). Weird issue... check a number of times and turned the synth off and back on and the issue is unchanged. I don't have one in front of me, but I recall that there'...

Re: Theremin advice

One thought I have though is that there are some advantages of not having a volume control on my current model in that I don't need both hands to play it - I can get on my knees on stage and play the Theremin and control pedals at the same time. Any advice anyone? Hi Edna, Since all of the Moog The...
