Re: Help needed. Can't disengage LFO.

Thanks man. Moog have advised that the next repair should solve all my problems, fingers crossed there's no more issues for me.

Currently back to 'like' mode, I'm sure once I get a fully working synth back it'll be 'love' mode once again.

Re: Help needed. Can't disengage LFO.

This issue has just happened to me  I've had nothing but trouble with this bloody synth, the whole analog board was replaced a couple of years ago after a string of issues/failed repairs. Yes I know about the support bulletin, yes Moog customer service is excellent...but the pain of getting the...

Re: Decision support: is the Voyager a reliable synthesizer?

Very fair response from Moog there, can't argue with that...thanks for clarifying Andy.

Re: Decision support: is the Voyager a reliable synthesizer?

Ah finally, I'm glad to see this statement from Moog...my Voyager has previously failed twice (in 2 years) due to issues outlined above and I'm always worried it's going to break again...not a great feeling when you break the bank for a luxury item. At least Moog have held their hands up and they no...

Re: Voyager XL+Friends Experimental ambient IDM Improv

Awesome! Those drums are the nuts, you've created a really nice wide and lush sound there. I used to make tunes like that, being heavily influenced by Aphex Twin and Squarepusher et al. My suggestion...hmm...overdub some crazy acid 303 style lines from the Voyager through some distortion! I take it ...

Re: SO so so dissapointed! Now 2 dead OSCs on VOS

I had my Voyager RME fail within the first year, osc sync stopped working...which was fixed under warranty. A year later my right output died. Then my MF101 decided the resonance should be permanently at 10 no matter where the knob was positioned. Needless to say, I was pretty fed up. What redeemed ...

My Voyager video

Hello!

As I was hooked on youtube videos of the Voyager before I bought one, I thought it was only right to put one up of my RME in action. It's no in-depth demo, just a play about...

Re: Second Osc dead

Patrick fixed my RME and MF101 recently...great communication throughout and he even went the extra mile to contact Moog for a special deal considering issues I've had in the past with the RME.

Hopefully it won't need to go back for a third repair!

Re: Second Osc dead

HHB in London cover Moog repairs quickly and efficiently in my experience. Best to contact Moog support first, they will give you the contact details.

Problems with Moog gear

Hi, Having an issue with my Voyager RME (v3.5) The majority of my presets have defaulted to having a zero decay time, so they all just sound like clicks. When I increase the decay time, the sound only comes out of the left output. There is some noise coming out of the right output. A few presets do ...

Re: Osc sync problem

Yep, after making a video of the problem, Moog have advised that the osc sync pulse is not working. I'm dissapointed as I thought this synth was built like a tank. Good job it happened within the warranty.

I was impressed with the support though...very quick responses, and very apologetic.

Osc sync problem

Hi, I have a Voyager RME, running V3.5 OS. I've noticed the oscillator sync does not seem to be behaving as it should; when sync is turned on, making any changes on osc 1 does not affect osc2. When adjusting the freq of osc 2 it just seems to behave as if osc sync is turned off (albeit with a wider ...

Re: Voyager - first impressions

Live psy...that sounds interesting. As in psy trance? I've got a psy trance project under the name Error Corrective, maybe you have heard of us? As for the Slim Phatty....I can see it becoming massively popular. It's the perfect solution for people like me wanting to get into analog on a budget. Fro...

Voyager - first impressions

After much deliberation (and forum lurking) I pulled the trigger on an RME. As this forum has been a great resource for me in deciding on the Voyager, I thought I would help any other potential buyers to make the right decision (and buy one). I should probably mention that I live in the middle of no...

Re: vangelis brass on the LP?

Thanks alot for posting the sample and patch JW. It is a pretty simple sound on reflection, but i guess there is just something about the CS80 that gave it a certain character. I do like your sample, but as you say...it's not a CS80. I sure will get on that patch you posted when i get the LP though!...
