Where are the new Lisa Bella Donna presets?
I got email saying that there are new Subsequent 37 presets by Lisa Bella Donna, but when I try to find them on the Moog website, I can't. Any clues where to look?

Using Werkstatt with external devices
What's the most effective way to connect, say, a CV/Gate keyboard (such as an Akai MAX25) to the Werkstatt? It seems to me that I would need to tie the grounds of the two devices together (although I don't see a ground terminal on the Werkstatt apart from the sleeve of the audio output) and then obt...

Re: Amplifier do you use for your minimoog D or Voyager?
I'm quite impressed with (an earlier version of) this amplifier for synths in general.
I think that if I wanted lots of bass, I'd consider this one instead.
Both of these are dramatically lighter than others I've seen with comparable bass response.

Minitaur + wind controller -- demo
Here's how a Minitaur sounds when you play it with a wind controller:

Re: Minitaur to controller. USB type B to USB type?
If you want to control a MInitaur from a USB-only controller keyboard, you can do it--but you need either a computer or a device that will stand in for a computer and negotiate the USB protocol. If your USB controller is a "class-compliant" device--which means that you don't need to instal...

That is certainly what the words seem to say.Rabalder wrote:Does this mean that when turning the mix knob, the dry signal stays in mono while the wet signals blends in in stereo?

Re: Midi Murf Guitar
You could use one of these with a foot pedal. You can program it to send any note you like when you hit the pedal, and it incorporates a MIDI merger so you can insert it in line with whatever else you're using to drive the MuRF.

Re: Looking for a good guitar tech!!
The following information may help: The low E string should be 3/32 inches from both pickups. The high E string should be 3/64 from the neck pickup and 1/32 from the bridge pickup. Each string should be the same distance from the pickup across the entire width of the pickup. All strings should be 1/...

Yes -- it appears to be how the guitar behaves.

Re: Hey, can anyone test this new MP201 firmware?
Seems to work here this time too, with one exception: In order to get the MP201 to start updating, I had to turn the value knob. After that, all went smoothly.

Re: Hey, can anyone test this new MP201 firmware?
Should I be treating my MP-201 as a paperweight meanwhile? Or can I count on being able to use the restored 2.00 version?

Re: Hey, can anyone test this new MP201 firmware?
PS: Being a glutton for punishment, I tried the update again after restarting my machine a second time. So I know that the message is
SEND FW SYSEX
CODE ERROR 2 2
The same message appears again after I power-cycle the MP201. I can still restore the 2.00 firmware OK.

Re: Hey, can anyone test this new MP201 firmware?
Failed for me too. (Windows XP) I tried installing it, the MP201 hung with an error message saying something about FW LOAD ERROR 2 2 (I don't remember the exact message, but do remember the 2 2 part) I was able to restore 2.0, but when I tried to install the new software again, the installer hung so...

Re: New Moogerfooger Suggestion
Ringmod $250 Novamusik.com I wish it was.. $250.00 they are $289.00 now.. Not quite. For $299 they'll sell you a Ring Modulator plus an expression pedal (which normally goes for $40) plus a dual 10-foot cable and a T-shirt and other stuff. I think it might be worthwhile to phone them and ask them f...

Re: what do you think on this
It's nice to be able to turn the power switch off before you make or break the connection between the synth and the power source. I'm pretty sure that the power switch does not disconnect the ground; so by turning the switch off first, you guarantee that the ground connection is made first. This gua...
