Preset Playback Sound Issue w/Midi

Here's the issue. I've programmed a number of presets since I've had my Voyager AE back in day of 04. I'll record a midi sequence, then on playback the saved patch sounds 'off' tone. While the sequencer is running.....I'll go ahead and hit -1 or +1 to change and effectively return to the preset I wa...

Re: What's a Voyager good for???

Can one hook up an old Roland TR-606 Drumatix to a new Voyager? Basically I'd like to know how old gear can trigger the Voyager? I'm not to familiar with the TR-606, but I'm assuming anything with a CV output plugged into the Voyager Inputs? Why not look at modern midi sequencer like the Schrittmac...

Re: What's a Voyager good for???

For me it's got to be the user interface and touch panel. It's easy to integrate into a midi studio or Live setup. The sound of course is a BIG plus.

What version/release is it? It varies on model, Mk I, Mk II, or Mk III and physical condition.

Thoughts?

Hell yea I'd use it! I know it's a tough call. I could see both sides of the fence. The only thing that really sucks is the user base is scattered now. If it's made free will that bring all of us together again?

Thank till for the response. I tried what you described, but it's just like that in either little to max fashion. Don't know what's going on. Going to inquire tech support about it.

After-pressure mod

Hi all, I sent my Voyager in for this mod but after playing with it I can't manage to get any of sounds out of the Voyager like in Steve's videos. Am I missing something? For example, I'll go to Pot Mapping SRC:Pressure, Dest: OSC2 Freq, Normal, 100% and I get faint changes in sound when hitting a k...

Very cool. It was released to help users with their System 100M. The original 4 book collection was housed in a case (cardboard) cover. It's really a nice little collection and it can be hard to find a complete set in mint condition. I like these old analog synth books. So much good info and the the...

I am leaning a little towards the Machinedrum right now...while a little digital/glitchy leani...

I'd say +1 on the drum machine, but I wonder if the new DSI/Linn BoomChick will cover the analog + sequencer needs...I really do think this thing is going to kill it...has me kinda holding on buying a Jomox 999 The DSI drum machine does look cool. But it's still a ways off to production so you'll b...

pretty sweet. takes time layering with one instrument. I know I get impatient, wish I had like 7 more voyagers  and they're giving us reasons now too with all these 'select' series editions. gotta collect'em all!

Very nice martin! I dig your productions. I take it though when you say these songs were made with your voyager you're not meaning exclusively as layering tracks with that one instrument?

Either way these are nice. Thanks for sharing.
