I'd be interested to know if there's someone out there that would be able to rehouse a Freqbox into a 1U rack space. I'd really want to rehouse two of them. You think that could be done in a 1U space?

I took my MP-201 off the shelf (it really hasn't been getting used at all due to the plethora of bugs that plague it) to actually test how well it worked with the Eventide pedals. Here were my findings:

My answer: sort of. The expression pedal will function perfectly, but using the MP-201 to control the tempo in anyway will lead you to serious frustration. We'll see how this is addressed in the firmware update.

Did this update address tap tempo exporting slower-than-tapped midi clock?

Ok I'll clarify...

I set channel 1 to an LFO slaved to tap tempo. Channel 1 is exporting midi clock.

I connect to the MIDI OUT to the MIDI IN of an effects unit. It's successfully receiving MIDI clock. I connect the MIDI THRU of that unit back into the MIDI IN of the MP-201.

You added an envelope generator? I really wish the MF-101 had an envelope in jack but it looks like I'll have to pick my second Fooger to really perfect my bass synth rig. That is a very cool feature.

I assume doing that would be totally safe. That's an interesting idea that I hadn't thought of. Out of curiosity, why didn't you guys implement tap tempo subdivisions before? It seems like the whole point behind the MP-201 is to give you as much CV control at your feet as possible to maximize live ...

It seems that in order to get subdivisions of your tap tempo rate, you need to have one channel synced to tap tempo, midi clock output slaved to tap tempo, and another channel slaved to the midi clock. The problem with this is that you can't slave the second channel to a midi clock that originates ...
