Not sure i understand fully the insert loop and what it's for in that case.
My idea wasn't a silly one if it had worked. 6 pounds for a lead instead of over 100 for a mixer and far less portable.

Re: Problems with insert cable?
Back to my original post, I need to be able to plug a delay into the Voyager and hear it working together in the headphones.

Re: Problems with insert cable?
I meant the feedback knob on the delay itself.

Re: Problems with insert cable?
If feedback on the delay is turned up you'd hear cascading echoes even with the keys pressed down.
Basically I thought that inserting a delay into the Voyager should allow the player to have delayed sound in the cans. Why I hear absolutely nothing of delay is mystery.

Re: Problems with insert cable?
Sorry, I don't understand. Am I hoping for something that can't happen? I thought I'd hear delay.

Problems with insert cable?
I've just taken delivery of an insert cable that I hoped would allow me to insert my MF 104M into Voyager's MIXER OUT / FILTER IN jack. Having problems. First of all the cable doesn't have labels 'tip' or 'ring', so I don't know which is which, but anyway I tried one in Audio IN and the other in MIX...

Re: Programming question
Thanks again. This synth is quite unbelievable! Starting to get to grips with using OSC 3 as modulation. So powerful. Such a well written manual.

Re: Programming question
Brilliant! Thanks for the explanation. Re manual my retailer still hasn't sent me one but it's true I should have scoured the PDF one! RTFM.

Programming question
I have this patch on my Voyager, Growing Lead (factory). If I keep a key pressed down and press a lower key, it jumps to the new note but if instead I press a higher key it doesn't jump to the new note. Can anyone tell me why?

Re: Pan problem
Do you mean I can change the CC mapping? I'd like to be able to pan, without changing OSC 2's frequency, but as yet I can't. I'll look again at the manual.

Re: Pan problem
So it's effectively still CC10 MIDI data (ie pan) when I turn the OSC 2 Freq? Why would it do that?

Re: Pan problem
Actually, the OSC 2 knob transmits 10 and 42 (#10 LSB -not sure what that is!?)

Pan problem
Turning Osc 2 frequency knob transmits CC10 to my DAW, which is Logic. Similarly if I pan the MIDI instrument in the channel strip, I get the same result in reverse direction. Any idea why?

MF 104M noise
I'm noticing that my MF 104M delay has a fair bit of mid freq noise when used with the Voyager on certain patches. It's more noticeable on soft leads than on percussive sounds, basses or bright sounds. I realise it's not a digital delay and there will be some noise at some settings.Just wondered if ...

Re: Voyager Editor
Right, so is there a solution? I mean is there another editor on the market? What do you do/use?
