Re: MF-102 Synchronize With Slicer/Other Pedals?
Just a guess, but could they be using something like an ElectroHarmonix 8-Step to control some MF-102 parameters via CV, and also have that synced to the Slicer? I think the Slicer and 8-Step both have MIDI inputs to be synced up with another controller's clock, so maybe there's a MIDI out coming fr...

Re: What's a Voyager good for???
It feels the most 'like a real instrument' much moreso than any other synth you'll play. My first time playing it in a live gig, I was playing the keys with one hand, tweaking knobs/touch pad with the other, and using the mod dial with my elbow (this was before I got my expression pedal). While I no...

Re: // searching through sound category?!
OS 3.5 lets you do a category search. You can just go here (http://www.moogmusic.com/selectseries/) and click on the "software" tab to find it.

Re: Ribbon Controller
Joe Rocks, even if he pretty much talked me into longing for the VX-351 and CP-251. Niko, I'm glad you're enjoying your controller. What was the adjustment you had to make? Did Joe know about this, or was it something you figured out on your own?

Re: Ribbon Controller
For the pressure sensitivity, there should be a toggle switch that controls how fast the triggering will be. One is gradual triggering (say, for a slow-ish filter sweep), while the other is quite fast. Think of the pressure sensitive one plugged into volume*. The slow release allows you to do volume...

Re: Ribbon Controller
I also highly recommend the Walking Stick. He's slowing down production on them in favour of a newer, bigger model, so I'd say act quick, if you're interested. I have footage of one being used on stage, with the Voyager's sound going out through a delay pedal - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5QqBAC...

my Death Cab For Cutie cover
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mw98sYdbyIM "I Will Follow You into the Dark" It's more Postal Service than Death Cab, and yeah, it's just a rough version. Korg Triton does everything but the main line, which is one of my favourite sounds that our favourite machine produces :) My wife did t...
