Re: Moog One Firmware Upgrade.

I wrote to Moog customer service asking about whether there was a firmware update coming. Here is there response: Yup, that's right. Nothing (other than the confirmation they got the request). Nothing. 6 years and I still have major issues with a flagship instrument. Unforgivable. Update: Af...

Re: Final Analysis....

If you're buying it as a 10 year investment, I'd suggest real estate or T Bills. If you're buying it to play it just from the keyboard , then it's a fantastic instrument. It sounds great (once you learn to program it) and its UI is superb. I'm concerned about long term repairability, but that's the ...

Re: InMusic Blows.

I've clamored for individual modules for years. If they suddenly start making them, it's about 11 years too late. There's only one more synth I intend to acquire, and it isn't a Moog. Hi Erik, Hope you are well. Same. I've been trying to find a 904c for 30 years. If Moog decided to sell individual ...

I wonder if we could drum up enough support for a boycott in the music community. Vulture capitalism strikes again. After being a loyal customer for 50 years, I guess I've bought my last Moog.

Re: Model 15 Oscillator warble

Sorry you are having so much trouble with your 15. I had 2 thoughts. The switch itself may be failing. a squirt of Deoxit may help. Make sure the edge connector on the back of the module is fully seated.

Re: Moog One FEATURE Requests

midi channel 7 has the chord on synth 1 midi channel 8 has the bass on synth 2 midi channel 9 has the 2nd chord on synth 3 Thanks for clarifying and than you for your efforts. Could you post the midi file so I can try it on mine. Would like to verify if the track would play properly here; and if so...

a) Chords with 3 notes b) 200bpm c) Using all synths on different channels 7,8, and 9 Did I something wrong? :? Hello, Thanks for posting this. I'm not sure you did anything "wrong" but I'm having a hard time hearing and undestanding exactly what you did. Did you send 3 note chords over a...

Re: Moog One FEATURE Requests

Nope. The basic midi functionality is given now for me as a non professional user. I have no problems since Firmware 1.5 I use my Moog One with Logic X or Reason in a perfect and easy way with USB and an ESI Midi Interface. No hanging notes. I modulate the Moog in real time when I record the audio ...

Re: Polymoog CV GAte?

Yes, you can definitely do it by using a MIDI-to-CV converter: You could use a MIDI-to-CV converter to generate CV/Gate signals that can be sent to the Polymoog. This would require connecting the MIDI-to-CV converter to the Polymoog's existing control inputs (such as the pitch and filter contexto c...

Re: Moog One FEATURE Requests

It's a bug, or bugs. It's clearly illusive; burried deep and seemingly impossible to recreate on demand. Being able to reproduce it reliably with a set of steps is the first stage in helping Moog fix it. A note off message is being lost/cleared/ignored/overwritten/changed somehow. Hopefully a fresh...

Re: Moog One FEATURE Requests

........It's astounding to me that Moog's "flagship" poly can't reliably receive midi chords from an external controller without locking up. I'm currently of the opinion that they can't actually fix the problem, but won't admit it as it could be financially disastrous to them. I'm not a &...

Re: Moog One FEATURE Requests

I thought that Moog released a huge external Midi control document for the ONE several years ago (probably still available in “downloads” somewhere). IIRC, it allowed for CC assignment/control of most of the front panel knobs. If that’s not working, that’s a bummer; I’ll admit I’ve haven’t had the ...

Re: Choosing between Model 10 and 15

The other major advantage to 921s is Pulse Width Modulation. 901s only have fixed/manual pulse width. But they are magic sounding. I have 2 vintage abbb sets and you'd have to pry them from my cold dead hands...
