Re: Progress update on Moog One firmware?
After 3 years of waiting and no official Moog statement on their webpage or to registered users, I got enough of it and the way they care about loyal customers (Taurus 3, 2x Minimoog Reissues 2016, a sticky and failing rotary switches SubPhatty, ...).
I am selling my Moog One 16, top condition ...

Re: Progress update on Moog One firmware?
I'm sorry, but Moog's handling of its customer service obligations for this "flagship" synth has been reprehensible.

Re: Delayed vibrato …best method ?.
Your general concept is correct, but on a Moog modular, delayed vibrato requires a 911a dual trigger delay module.

Re: Progress update on Moog One firmware?
As far as I can tell, the last firmware update (V1.5) came out on 5/27/2022.
My 16 V One (purchased in late 2018) was replaced by Moog earlier this year, confirming what I had always suspected, that in addition to the firmware issues, mine had serious hardware defects from the beginning (NOT an ...

Re: MIDI CCs and STUCK NOTES
I had a very early 16v One. Six maddening years of constantly stuck notes. Made it unusable under midi control. Continuously told firmware would fix it, but it didn't. Moog swapped mine out a few months ago. The new one is FAR better. I am convinced there was a hardware issue on some units.
They ...

Re: Moog One Firmware Upgrade.
I wrote to Moog customer service asking about whether there was a firmware update coming. Here is there response:
Yup, that's right. Nothing (other than the confirmation they got the request). Nothing.
6 years and I still have major issues with a flagship instrument.
Unforgivable. :evil ...

Re: Final Analysis....
If you're buying it as a 10 year investment, I'd suggest real estate or T Bills.
If you're buying it to play it just from the keyboard , then it's a fantastic instrument. It sounds great (once you learn to program it) and its UI is superb. I'm concerned about long term repairability, but that's the ...

Re: InMusic Blows.
I've clamored for individual modules for years. If they suddenly start making them, it's about 11 years too late. There's only one more synth I intend to acquire, and it isn't a Moog.
Hi Erik,
Hope you are well.
Same. I've been trying to find a 904c for 30 years. If Moog decided to sell ...

Re: InMusic Blows.
I wonder if we could drum up enough support for a boycott in the music community. Vulture capitalism strikes again. After being a loyal customer for 50 years, I guess I've bought my last Moog.

Re: Model 15 Oscillator warble
Sorry you are having so much trouble with your 15. I had 2 thoughts. The switch itself may be failing. a squirt of Deoxit may help. Make sure the edge connector on the back of the module is fully seated.

midi channel 8 has the bass on synth 2
midi channel 9 has the 2nd chord on synth 3

Nope. The basic midi functionality is given now for me as a non professional user. I have no problems since Firmware 1.5
I use my Moog One with Logic X or Reason in a perfect and easy way with USB and an ESI Midi Interface. No hanging notes. I modulate the Moog in real time when I record the ...
