When I saw the problem it was not connected at all. Just power.

Bad new for me to! I have the same problem. For two days now the update(MP-201) was working fine...no problems at all. I was running a sequencer from my mac and no problem at all..No message from computer or anything else. I just unplugged everything and when I powered it up the LCD screen was blank...

Mine died a few weeks ago... somehow one chip was a problem...
My friend replace it and now it works just fine.
