Re: Slim Phatty Problems: Osc2 Tune + Envelope
OK, I tried several calibration procedures. Osc2, Note and PW. Everything is the same. I tried factory restore, nothing happens  What I figured out is: Both oscillators in lowest octave (16') are sharper than other octaves. So if I tune phatty in 16 octave and move the octave to 8' it will be 2...

Re: Slim Phatty Problems: Osc2 Tune + Envelope
Ok, so Envelope is good. But, Osc 2 frequency is bad. If I want osc 1 and osc 2 in tune, I have to turn the control so the second led of the center is illuminated. As I turn the Freq up, I can't reach the perfect fifth. It doesn't get that high. But I can get almost major third if I turn it all the ...

Re: Slim Phatty Problems: Osc2 Tune + Envelope
I have the latest firmware.
Ok, so the problem with envelopes was a ground issue of the place. At home, everything is ok.
I calibrated it yesterday… I have to check how is the tuning of Osc2 now.

Slim Phatty Problems: Osc2 Tune + Envelope
HI! Long time no posts from me. Guess everything was good. I really did't play ma slim phatty lately, so here it goes… some problems: Oscillator 2 has a offset. It is always higher than Osc1. It goes higher by Freq control, and It doesn't go low as it should. Also it is not in tune if you go and pla...

Re: best Amp (not PA) for slim phatty
I'm back from extensive mixing for our new album and it is time to think about live gigs… Recently I bought Orange or120 head, for my guitar needs. It is a killer killer killer amp. I play guitar for 20 years and this is roar best amp I ever played! New it is time to try my Slim with it! It has mass...

Re: slim phatty osc2 unstable and out of tune
Hi! I have the same problem. But in my case, The osc 2 is a little sharp in pitch. I discovered this after 30 days of not playing it. The funny thing is that some presets that include osc 2 in various detunings are fine, like the veer before, but some are not the same. Osc 2 frequency can now go hig...

sysex msg for some additional feature? Slim
Did anybody scan the sysex messages from the editor? One thing I really want to have control over it is local control on/off. Anyway, it would be really handy if we could know all the sysex controls. Can anyone with an editor try this out? Something like MIDI monitor or similar can be handy. I just ...

MP201 sysex implementation
Hi! Ok, so it is clear that editor is out of a question. But, is there anything we can do with sysex ? There are tools that are just what wee need. For example, buggy MIDI Quest and MIDI Translator. Now when I finally got into MP with my synth setup (before I was using it just with moogerfoogers) I ...

Re: Mp 201
You can try, but text next to the update clearly says:
NOTE: You *MUST* use USB MIDI to send the update; it will not work via standard MIDI connection.
Sorry.

Re: Delay Unit Recommendations
Yes go for minimooger! I believe that is actually the same as 104 but without all the extras.
I have my 104z for 8 years now and is far best delay I ever played.
I would love to have 104M but for me, this is also to much for my valet.

Re: What's the story on the EP-3?
I hate EP-2. I have 3 of them and all of them are useless after 2 years. But no problem, I replaced them with MP-201  But still, what a crap of hardware, even my old (20 years) boss does the job better! I would like to se something like MP-202, with just 4 switches, so you can chose which o...
