Re: Model D dust cover with panel still up?

A towel will not stop dust. In fact, it will attract it and every time you handle it, it will spread it around the room. Buy a cheap shower curtain from the dollar store and cut it to size to drape over the machine. you don't want it tight and form fitting as it can form condensation in some climate...

Re: Which simple but effective seuqencer for Voyager

Not inexpensive, but I love the MAQ16/3 to sequence my Voyager. It just does SO much . and a lot less expensive than a 960 suite or an STG Soundlabs Time Suite for the Berlin School stuff I do.

I'd do Spacelab or Radioactivity.

Re: Black Friday discount

I see no 20% discount, just the 10% on merch. (only thing I would want is a aftertouch upgrade and recalibrate of my old Voyager, anyway.)

Nothing. I'm not so into paying someone to advertise their product.

Re: Why is the Moog footpedal better than ones half the cost

The only thing different in my newer (plastic) Moog pedal and the other brands is cost. (They are made in the same factory from the same molds and the only change is the sticker on the bottom.) I have 7 of those from various vendors. My earlier pedal (Still plastic) has a very handy passive attenuat...

Re: Initial click only on line outs

That is NOT normal. Sounds like (to me) a problem with the output opamps. I would have it serviced by the euro repair shop for Moog.

Re: Change pots - Have you done it?

Remove the knob. Tighten the nut. Put the knob back on. I have to do this every few years to the pots on my Signature. Use 'em a lot and they will get loose. Use a nut driver or socket and NOT pliers or wrenches and you wont scratch anything. (I have sockets with soft faces that won't scratch. Overk...

Re: Need General Moog Synth Info Please

Look to waldorf for the best strings.
DSI, Nord, Waldorf for the other weirdness. (Analog poly is REALLY over-rated. There was a reason it was dropped like a reeking turd in the 80's. Sound.)

Re: Help! More whining issues.

That is a known trouble. Always power the CP from a wall wart and NOT the Voyager.
