Re: What is Multing and Attenuation?

so what exactly could I use to control something like the Sweep CV in of my phaser with 2 Outs? :?: If using the CP251, if I understand the question correctly: *take the triangle LFO and route it to the Mult; -send one output to an Attenuator, and then to the 'Sweep' input of the Phaser -send the 2...

Re: mp 201 and phaser rate

It sounds like you have the MP201's LFO patched into the "Rate" input of the Phaser. If you want to use a MIDI synced LFO from the MP201 to sweep the Phaser, you must patch the MP201 into the "Sweep" input of the Phaser (which will disable the internal LFO and LFO rate knob). If ...

Re: MP 201 timing issues

Hey Han Solo, I think I sold you that bass murf on talkbass under the username 'fightthepower', you're located in australia right? Nice to see your Moog collection growing :) Yeah I just double checked and when not synced to MIDI clock, you can sync LFO's to other channels so they're in sync, but un...

Re: MP201 + ringmod = vca?

The Ringmods VCA/volume pedal functionality seems to operate at a -2.5v to +2.5v range (instead of the standard 0 to +5v of other inputs), so if in Unipolar mode you'll still only be giving it 0v when the Heel is down. When using expression mode, with the MP201 set to unipolar (0/+5v), the full volu...

Re: Oberheim Two voice

And as an additional question - I suppose you can use the MP-201 as a MIDI/CV interface for the SEM - connecting a keyboard to MIDI in on the MP, and CV from the MP to the SEM - right? Yep sure can, I'm using the MP201 as a MIDI/CV converter to control my little 'fooger modular with a MIDI keyboard...

Re: Watch out Moog!

I don't think anyone looking at Moog gear will be tempted to spring the the Gaia instead... rehashed 15 year old Roland synth. Nice interface I guess, at least, but sounds like crap. Its not even fully 'VA'..

Re: New Moogerfooger

I agree with the posters that do not want to see any effects with digital signal paths from Moog, though digital control as they have used is perfectly fine by me. Regarding Bitcrushers, there are some excellent units to choose from already- the Geiger Counter is a killer signal mangler. I dont see ...

Re: MP-201 Exp Pedal & "Active Ignore"

There is a second workaround for LFO channels - actually it's not a workaround, it's the method I had in mind for this situation. On the LFO channel, set LFO Off Mode to "Continuous." This mode means that you can turn the channel "off" and the LFO output will continue unchanged....

You got it- there is no off for the treadle, and your workaround is correct.

The Robot in the picture above is an early unit I believe; the current Robot's are in a regular hammond style enclosure, about the size of most 'regular boutique' style pedals.

Thanks for posting! SO it would function as the original if you multiplied your audio signal and sent it tothe mod and the audio in? Interesting. I think that it functions as normal when nothing is plugged into the new Key In.. I have/had a few filters with this option and this is how they functione...
