Same problem for my LP.
My macbook and m-audio profire610 are 100% tested and working.
Midi out from LP is perfectly working, but incoming midi signal drives the synth totally crazy, i have to turn it off to stop the whole damn thing...
What's happening?

of course you can.

i'm using a 5 octaves midi keyboard (connected to LP midi in) for live gigs.
i can easily change LP's preset with the buttons/controllers on the midi keyboard (way better than twisting LP's fragile value encoder).

i'm using it a lot with my LP. i know it's not exactly analog, but it sounds amazing and it's really user friendly for live performances.

Voltor07 wrote:kabubi, it sounds like a case of bad cable. If there's a short in one of the cables, you'll have a grounding issue. I'd throw away the offending cable or label it "not for use with LP".
yes Voltor, that's exactly what i've done

Hi everyone,

i own a LP se I (silver back) updated to OSII
i have the same issue using some of audio cables (dunno exactly which type). When i plug it (for example) into an audio interface the issue appear. if i replace the jack with another cable, it disappear. :?:
