Re: little phatty poly chain LFO sync issues

Hi, thanks for your response. no, sadly the LFO sync options have no effect; that's the first place i went to rectify the problem. i've tried the LFO syncing to midi, but nothing. when i change the CLK DIV: rate on both internal or midi, it has no effect to the LFO(s) on either LP? Unless i've done ...

Re: Moog Little Phatty Stage 2 USB midi feedback

thanks Rosser, Turns out that when it comes to midi, Logic has more bugs than a crack whore with the sniffles! the trick is NOT to arm the external midi track when recording. Logic will record the midi information even if the track isn't armed, but won't pump the midi information back out into the s...

little phatty poly chain LFO sync issues

Hi gang, i'm borrowing someones LP stage II and have wired it to my stage 1 to create 2 voices of bliss. Everything is cool apart from the LFO's go out of sync with each other. for example, a heavy dub-step wobble turns into a mess, like it's going through a delay. is there a way to recalibrate the ...

Moog Little Phatty Stage 2 USB midi feedback

Hi guys, i have a friends LP stage 2 and there's an annoying issue with midi commends being sent/received via the USB port. When i arm an external midi track in Logic, the channel receives the midi data from the LP and sends it back to the LP again causing it to stick notes and freeze the filter cut...

upgrade to 3.1 normal behaviour or faulty upgrade????

Hi all, just upgraded my LP from 2.20s to the latest 3.1 firmware. i upgraded the firmware by MIDI using a macbook via a Focusrite Saffire 6 USB. everything seemed to of upgraded ok; however, the first 50 presets were replaced with test presets to ensure the parameters were all working, (filter pole...

thanks for the response nikola

the global tuning of mine does frequently go out by 30 cents, i'm contemplating whether i should re-calibrate my LP. i am using the tuner in Logic to analyse the pitch of my synth, so i might try a guitar tuner instead just to make sure.

so can anyone clarify, is it normal for the oscillator to drift out of tune by 30+ cents?

no i got it repaired professionally for £70. it was a grounding issue as the LP only did it when it wasn't connected to anything, apart from the mains. having the audio out of the LP plugged into something acted as an earth, which resulting in the unit not freaking out.

one thing i haven't mentioned is that i bought the LP second hand and it had a fault that the control knobs used to change by themselves. it turned out that the power supply needed a transistor which resolved the issue. not sure if that has something to do with it, but i certain the power unit and t...

i set mine to tune around A 3 which is 440Hz, the tuning frequency ;)

this might sound odd but the Lp behaves itself when i set the tuning to manual, tune it by hand then set it back to auto again.

it might just be a coincidence, but it seems pretty unusual

oh, as with tuning it still slight out of tune, even after 15 minutes left alone to warm up. at this moment some are in perfect pitch, but som on the other hand or either +3 or - 3 cents out of tune. is that normal as it is analog?

the problem with mine (that's if it is actually a problem) is that all the buttons are like that; however, i find that that pressing any of the buttons on the bottom right of the rubber square gets more of a response. So possibly it's due to how the circuit board inside is positioned???
