I found some MIDI foot controllers on musicians friend for 550$ (Roland PK-5) and $480 (StudioLogic) now I figure there 70$ in difference. Now all I want to know is; is it worth that extra 70$ for the PK`s or should I just keep that money and get the StudioLogic`s because they both do the same thing ...

I guess he's saying they are just Midi Controllers only. No sound engine.

Correct - the PK-5 is a controller only, no internal sound engine.


Ok so that means you have to plug them into an amp to hear the presets? (Bass, Poly, Drums, and SF)

I'm putting a lot of faith in the T-3s that they will be the best pedal unit to have. I've owned T-1s and T-2s, and I currently use a set of PK-5s midi'd to a Roland JP-8000 as my bass pedals. The T-1s were a far better machine (for me) than the T-2s - better sound, everything controlled by feet ...

Hi I just wanted to know from people more experienced what they think is better, a set Roland PK-5 or the new or old Taurus bass pedals.

I'm keeping my PK-5s, and will MIDI them to my T-3s - that way I'll have a set of pedals at the front of the stage by my mic stand, and another on the side of the stage beneath my keyboards (my main instrument is the bass guitar). I may even set them over by my guitar player & let him start having ...

Does anybody know if after all the T3's are sold will moog be making any more bass pedals again? And if they are all sold how often does moog bass pedals show up on Ebay?

I can't believe that moog came out with the new Taurus 3 pedals!!!!! I can't wait to get one but I do like the T1 alot so i've made my mind if someone has a T1 and would like to sell it at a resonable price please contact me.
