THe Voyager is all analogue as well, except it has MIDI, 896 available slots of patch memory, functions as an extreme MIDI controller as every key pot wheel and (almost every ...

I think the keyboard wizard consistantly has the best demos. He shows what the synth can do musically, unlike most demos which consist of non-musical mindless noodles.

Yes...though some of us can't actually play. If we could, our demos would be better. i second that notion.....he would have ...

if a moog voyager and lil fatty are complete units (as opposed to modular synths like .com) then whats the need for a CP-251 and other "moogerfoogers"? do they provide extra signals to be tinkered with in addition to the ones that are built in?

what is a "patch"? is it like a group of settings that are saved to create a specific sound? is this what people import?

for example, i fiddle with knobs and settings and find something that sounds really nice....do i save it as a patch that other people can upload?

Welly welly welly welly welly welly welly welly well,
Get some patch cords and give them a little bit of the in out in out.

Matt,
Now on the Fantom, I really did dial up some sines and some saws and the filter was just simply, lacking. Even the cutoff knob just didn't do it for me. (Spaceballs ...

Synthesizers.com sells modules and complete modular synths. I've never played one -- the only modular experience I have is a couple of hours on an ARP 2600 many years ago -- but they seem to be very well thought of. Modulars are very interesting and flexible instruments. They typically do not have ...
