Re: Slim Phatty End Screws
I would love to know this, too. I guess no one at Moog Music bothers with their forums anymore. Maybe they should shut it down and save some money.

Re: Subsequent 25?
Wow. This was a bit of a "wet firecracker". I have no idea what the market-speak is trying to convey in that advertisement either.
"In the spirit of continuous improvement, Moog is setting a new standard: The Subsequent 25."
Mmm. Yeah.

I hope you receive it soon, too! I would love to hear some of this once its done. Heck, maybe this could be the catalyst to change my impressions of the Moog One.Iaamusic wrote: ... I want mine quickly I have two projects I want to use it all over.

Re: Moog One vs Other Polysynths
So far, I'm really unimpressed by the One. Sure it offers lots and lots of possibilities, but the overall sound of it is uninspiring. I own a Minimoog D, a DSI OB6, a Prophet REV2, and a few other classic synths, and even a Korg DW8000 is more appealing, sound wise, than everything I've heard so fa...

Wow. I just found this guy covering Eleventh Earl Of Mar. Pretty darn good. The Taurus pedals are causing my speakers to make the room shake. Killer!

Isolated Mike Rutherford on the Genesis track Eleventh Earl of Mar. Besides playing the Taurus Mike plays some very interesting bass guitar parts.

Re: Calling all TAURUS owners...
I bought another set of T1's a month ago. Due to my new work schedule, I decided to send it out to Jareth Lackey to rebuild/calibrate them. Jareth sent a video update to me and they sound awesome. They are serial #1393 which means it is the 393rd unit built. The date is was built is 11/11/1975. Craz...

Honestly, I was not digging the sounds of the Moog One at first. But after watching the Amos videos I am on board.

Re: Genesis - Mike Rutherford's Taurus settings versus Dewtr
It looks like Rutherford was still using the Dewtrons for the Lamb tour. They appear front and center on his pedalboard. The pedalboard looks to be the same or similar to his pedalboard as used in the Genesis Live at Shepperton 1973 video. As I've read, the Archive 1 recording was pretty heavily 'do...
