Re: Impact of new model D on pricing of vintage Minimoog D
Must admit this came as a bit of a shock. I only heard about it when I got the email from Moog Music re post production. As the owner of both a Model D and Voyager keyboard I am unsure of impact. One perspective is that it offers more people access to a distinctive sound at a reasonable price with n...

Re: EQ pedal for Voyager?
Now have BBE Sonic Stomp in situ after my ART Tube MP. It has really brightened up the Voyager and given more presence. I have recently purchased a Model D. I have not had a great deal of time doing side by side but with perseverance the Voyager sounds pretty close. The Forum is a great source of us...

EQ pedal for Voyager?
I am looking for a cheap way to brighten up the sound of my Voyager and bring out the frequencies. Would any of the Boss or Behringer 7 band EQ pedals work ( in mono out of RH output) or would I need a stereo EQ rack unit? I am conscious of possible level issues as EQ set up for guitar. Any suggesti...

Re: Model D and Voyager settings?
Alain, Thanks for taking the time to respond. I agree about the ear being the best comparison measurement. Due to work commitments I have not had a great deal of time to spend playing both. ( I am planning to set aside some dedicated time) However so far I have been impressed by the Voyager's abilit...

Voyager filter settings
Posted this thread in more general discussion but might be better here in Voyager chat. I have had a Electric Blue Voyager keyboard for a number of years. It looks good and sounds great. However now (after only 40 years of wanting one) I have purchased a late (serial no in 12,000s) Mini Moog Model D...

Model D and Voyager settings?
I have had a Electric Blue Voyager keyboard for a number of years. It looks good and sounds great. However now (after only 40 years of wanting one) I have purchased a late (serial no in 12,000s) Mini Moog Model D. It is in great physical condition and tunes as well as my voyager. You will be pleased...

Creating mini moog patches on Little Phatty
Hi, Looking for some advice please. I am trying to create some patches on my LP using the Tom Rhea mini moog patch book. Clearly the LP filter and envelope controls are different. The variable function edit controls do not show any specfic measurement. does anyone know if the filter and EG controls ...
