Contact Moog tech support. You'll have to send the firmware sysex file again. I find that the LP Midi is a bit flaky and I get this error every week or so.

Well... It never occurred to me to try my EHX Frequency Analyzer with the LP... Hmmm... maybe I'll see how it like some ring mod action...

Well... I only got to play with it for about 45 minutes today... But it was fun. Especially when I plugged the LP into my Small Stone. I found myself thinking "damn, I gotta get some more foogers..." which is, I suspect, why Moog made the 251s part of the deal.

As for where to put it... I have a nice conductor's music stand that will be its home, along with the Electribe that I plan to get very soon... The stand lets me place the CP directly above the LP.

Mine just came. Good thing I bought a bunch of patch cables this weekend! And considering that I sent the form in in mid-January, it looks like Moog was right on schedule with me.

I look forward to trying it out... but I gotta play rockabilly and blues guitar this afternoon.

Actually, they do read the forum and respond. Far more than any other company I've ever dealt with. CP-251s are shipping now. Moog is a bit behind schedule, but when you consider that they said to expect 8-10 weeks for delivery, they're not actually that far behind schedule. So chill, everyone'll ge...

You know... if you want to keep your LP, you'll find a way to keep it along with the Nord and the Roland. Put up shelves... get one of those hutches for your desk... invest in a Standtastic wall mount [http://www.lmproducts.com/dspStandtasticWallmounts.cfm]... If you really want to keep all three bo...

... And it's worth noting that a company like Moog can't afford to keep a large inventory of parts and components that are unallocated to production. Too expensive and too risky.

The real reason you do this is so the guys standing at the back can see it's a Moog, silly.

The truth is that Roland is going to sell a whole lot of those, and you're going to see them all over music videos.

The keytar is back... how long until Yamakorg releases their own?
