Alright, I'll get some de-oxit. I'd assume it can be picked up at any hardware store?

After I cleaned the 'bus bar', it seems a little worse. I used rubbing alcohol, and a q-tip and now there seems to be an fall off of staticky sound, along with the click. This is frustrating.

I'd hate to send it in, it's so expensive to do.

I got my Micromoog, very early model, 1xx5 or something, great condition, for $365 shipped off ebay, and this was all very recently.

^^You mean one of the trim pots, as in one of the holes in the real panel? A while ago, I went through that whole procedure listed in the manual, but it didn't do anything to help the clicking.

I took it all apart, and cleaned what I think were the contacts. In the keyboard piece, there was a long ...

Hi, I'm still having this problem with my Micro. What are some good Moog specialists that I could send it into?

Or do you guys have any new ideas as to what the problem may be?

Yeah, mine is is top-notch condition, with all switch covers, knobs, and everything. One problem is that the filter mode switch is weird, because the tone part doesn't trigger right, you have to push the switch down sometimes. Other than that, it's great.

And it's my first and only (for now) synth.

Ok, I'll try it.

So far the Micro has been great, I got it for $365 a few months ago, and it's serial number 1501. Great eh?

acorkos wrote:did you try tweaking your envelope attack controls?
Yes, I wrote that in my post.

And yes maskin, I can hear it through the mixer, as well as with headphones directly into the synth.

It's not really a problem for live playing, but when I record it, that click is very prominent and sounds bad.

Micromoog recording problem

Well, I was trying to record my Micromoog, line in into a mixer, and then mixer into a laptop, with Garageband. I noticed that when I hit a key, there was a thin staticy click that occured right at the attack of the sound, along with the sound that the synth made. I can't seem to make it go away. It ...
