Or does he discuss the filter bank at some point and I w...

Re: new slim phatty with Bass guitar?

I noticed they have a V2 version of the G2M that just came out. It's supposed to improve the latency and note detection.

Re: new slim phatty with Bass guitar?

Interesting. So it's a matter of the wave and latency, not necessarily how clean the particular note is played? Based on what I heard/saw/read, I I thought that it had to do with the attack on notes (or absence of it) and thought maybe a compressor might help. The frequency of the note determines t...

Re: new slim phatty with Bass guitar?

I don't have any direct experience but I understand that on a standard stringing (EADG), that lower frequencies are more difficult to 'track' for these devices. Has to do (I think) with the amplitude which is more easily discernible as strings are held closer to the bridge. The problem with the low...

Re: new slim phatty with Bass guitar?

A sonuus b2m may or may not work for you.

Here's a look:

It's an easy and cheap way to get midi from an instrument. I have a G2M, it's not perfect but I like it a lot.

Hi, I have been wondering for a while what makes the Moog fixed filters so special in comparison to those of some other manufacturers. ... Ruud Well if you really want to know then you might want to check this out. 44 minutes into the video he covers the classic moog filter http://www.blip.tv/file/...

Re: New SP owner

I bought a Sonuus G2M, just to use it with my LP, but returned it a week later. It was a completely useless little thing. It couldn't manage to analyze the tone steady enough, it sounded awful. And, yes, I know it is monofonic and that you have to play very clean on a well tuned guitar. Judging by ...

Re: New SP owner

Hi, my name's Rok and I'm a guitarist :anxious: I'm the proud new owner of a Slim Phatty - and I'm absolutely loving it! Being a guitarist I love the analog, organic side of sound production. I've always loved the sound of a Moog, going way back to early Rick Wakeman, ELP and all those bands, and I...

Re: "Moog" Pandora stations

I'm looking for suggestions for Pandora stations that would feature moog instruments. It would be especially good if the station tended to feature a certain insrument like voyager, or other Moog, but that may be asking for too much. A similiar Buchla station would be interesting too. It would also ...

Re: sonuus I2m and slim phatty

It looks like the I2M won't work with a phatty anyway. The I2m is a usb slave only and I take it that the phatty is too so one would need a computer to make them play together.

sonuus I2m and slim phatty

Has anyone tried the new sonuus I2m with a slim phatty (or any moog for that matter)? I'd love to see a demo.
