I had the RME and I loved it. I had to sell it for financial reasons, but yeah, they're great, and they work really well with the LP. Good luck! For some reason I think I have your previous one now. Was it #0049? Call me crazy if not. Just a hunch. No, you have the one a friend of mine was slated t...

I love legato glide... I find it's so much more musical than glide that's on ALL the time. It's nice to be able to engage it based on how you play. If you have an MP-201, you could use its midi2CV abilities to get legato glide and multiple glide shapes on any LP, using the LP CV inputs... This remin...

Naaaah, the Micro is cool in it's own way. Maybe years from now people will look back on this time and wish they had that 'turn of the millenium' glassy synth sound. Well, maybe not. But the Micro has its benefits. Even though I sold mine, I eventually got an MS2000b, which I then sold and eventuall...

+1 for alternate tunings. I've found it to be extremely cool and funky to be able to do 1/4 tone stuff once in a while. Plus, it'd probably open up more markets overseas where that kind of music is more common. I'd find a divide down mode a bit weird for the LP. I'd almost rather see them do that wi...

I responded with the aftertouch w/ mod bus destination. Especially with multi keyboard rigs, sometimes my other hand is busy playing chords or whatever to be able to reach up and hit a mod wheel. It'd be great to be able to introduce some extra modulation through aftertouch. Especially because of th...

I can't lie; I've been hoping each day for the email. But I'd rather wait for Moog to do the best job possible. I know it'll be worth the wait...

The Taurusbass.com site is showing numbers past serial # 100, so that's a good thing!

Oh, I remember the other thing I was going to say... The RME has everything self contained... less hardware, less stuff to go wrong down the road ie key contacts, touchscreen etc. Not that that should be a huge issue anyway, because Moog makes stuff really well, but something to think about nonethel...

In all, seven comparison tests were performed, plus a waveform test. You can hear all of the test audio clips here:

The audio files are gone... I would have loved to have heard these results..

I just did a show last weekend - a Michael Jackson tribute - and the MD used a Minimax for all the MJ basslines. He also owns 2 Sources, and used to own a Mini. He's a guy that is incredibly discerning when it comes to tone, and he stands by the Minimax 100%. I've never owned a Mini - I've played a ...

Had mine for just over a month now, and there are only 2 things I wish it had - a 2nd LFO, and an on-board noise source. Add CP-251, problem solved. :) Yeah man, you gotta get a CP-251. And I have to get the CV expansion for the LPte. Hmmm.... I don't think the LPIII should be a polysynth, but I do...

right now, just a set of Rokit 8's, no sub. I also have a pair of 100w keyboard amps with 15" speakers in them, and a pair of Yorkville 350w powered monitors. So it won't be as epic as it could be. But I live near a few bass players, and a mutimillion dollar recording studio. So there will be s...
