Yes. I agree with Voltor07. I had evolver desktop for the past 1.5 year. It sounds so thin comparing to the same case of Moog LP. Once I tried to resemble a saw lead which I did with Evolver but I could not do that. However hard I try, Moog Lp CAN NOT sound so thin as Evolver does. :D Because Moog L...

I also say keep it.
The picture below says what I'd like to say.

My Nord is for polyphonic and LP is for monophonic. :)

Well, this is not exact answer to you question, but I can tell you that the Phatty and the Evolver make magic together! :) And since the Evo and the Mopho have quite a lot in common I can't imagine that LP+Mopho wold be a much worse combo... Is that you Christian from NMA? In a picture, I saw you p...

Well I've just posted this for someone who wants to hear the difference between DSI & Moog. This is a short demo using DSI Evolver only. The drum sound is from sampled DR-55 sound. The lead & PWM bass are from DSI Evolver. http://vvs.x-y.net/files/uv1b.mp3 I think this is quite distinct fro...

Welcome to my world! I did like you did. It's a bit different feeling though. At first I thought and expected my LP stage II would sound like or sound better than MicroMoog or Prodigy or Rogue at least. But it never happened. It sounded totally different with those Moogs. I was even envious of filte...

Thank you Till and Eric K for those answers.

So to sum it up, though most of them have filter with same design, but they sound different because of different components or other designs for certain parts like envelope. Is that correct?

Thanks, Eric K. I know what you mean. But the manual says a value for Square wave forms. So I thought if anyone knows the values for pure waveforms, it is not actually precise value due to analog waveform caracteristics though.

A question about Moog filter design.

I’m curious about so called ‘Moog filter’. As far as I know, the filter is a patent ‘ladder filter’ designed by Dr. Bob Moog. It is actually 24db low-pass filter. What I’m most curious about is if all moog synthesizers have same filter, at least filter with same design. But each model of Moog monoph...

Precise value for waveforms.

Please anyone let me know precise values for those pure waveforms like Sawtooth, Square. Then I can select them with value control in precise control menu in LCD. I'm sure if it is pure square waveform or not, though the manual says the value '2048' is square waveform regarding the calibration prese...
