Re: What are your favorite Moog albums?
I've always been big into Air's Moon Safari, it's actually the album that brought my attention to Moog in the first place when I was just starting out learning about synths. That album's riddled with Minimoog.

Re: Minitaur firmware update soon - your requests here pleas
I think this was mentioned before, but I want to post my support for the ability to save "under the hood" settings as default settings each time you power he device up. I don't actually own a Minitaur yet, but this along with the apparent bug fixes would probably seal the deal for me.

Re: Share your synthesizer music!
It's fine to hear synths in a band context sometimes. I have nothing against experimental synth-only tracks and I myself practice that, but I'm primarily a rack band keyboardist. I use the Little Phatty mainly as a bass synth in a band these days… more on this later :) Yeah, I wasn't sure given tha...

Cheers Kenneth! I don't listen to much Incubus, I'll have to check it out! Thanks for listening!Kenneth wrote: Jamez, this is fantastic! It reminds me of Incubus a little bit. That is a compliment. Also, I think Bob originally designed the Minimoog with rock bands in mind...

Re: Share your synthesizer music!
This isn't entirely synthetic (I play in a band), but all the synths are either my Moog LP or my DSI Prophet 08. And all the delay effects on the synths are from the MF-104M.

Great video! You've clearly spent a lot of time getting to know the ins and outs of this delay. So good, I've pre-ordered one!

The delay section does not actually refer to a delay (echo) effect does it? It's more referring to the degree of flange?

Re: Please help with some CP-251 + LP Stage II CV/GATE patch
Put simply, merely sending a CV signal from the Little Phatty to the CP-251 will have no affect on the sound produced. Whatever signals come out of the LP from the CV outputs don't have any affect on the internal sounds of the LP. You could use the CV outs to affect the CP-251, but then you would ha...

Man, don't even mention Coldplay! They use a voyager solely as a midi controller (at least when it comes to live performance)! It's disgraceful! (I don't mind a bit of Coldplay from time to time though).glide wrote:PHISH is great!

Re: Newbie stumbling in....
Greetings from one Australian to another! I own a Moog Stage II which I purchased new from Awave, who are Australia's primary Moog distributors. Can't recommend it enough, I've pulled many a mean solo on it. Add a bit of delay to the mix and we'll be going back to "hands on knobs" referenc...

It was a feature added (I believe...) to Os 2.0, and it's mentioned in the addendum manual for that, not the original LP manual... (just for some closure )

Re: Latency on the first note when auto tuning is on
There is a reason behind this, something to do with the fact that when the LP is autotuning it produces some sort of calibration pitch to which it tunes to. So when the key is pressed down after a while it takes a brief moment to switch off this tone, and revert to playing as per usual so you don't ...
