Re: MOOG VOYAGER! NEED HELP WITH UPDATE

In sysex librarian preferences try setting "Pause between played messages" to 60ms.
Then on the transmit speed tab set " transmit buffer size " to 128 bytes.
It could also be you're midi interface. Do you have a different one to try with ?

Re: (2024) Minimoog voyager hangs at bob screen

If Biff Behringer gets hold of it and releases a clone before Bob makes the original then we'll be in an alternate reality where Bob doesn't get the Moog name back, all the "Moog" Voyagers, Phatties, Subs,Mother's,etc disappear like they never existed and your mum gets the hots for you.

I then followed the procedures described here, blindly, and sent a Sysex file via MidiOX, but I got the following error:
"Sysex: No Buffers Available: There is not enough memory...."
Amazing isn't it?
Does Voyager or MIDIox give you the error ?

Re: MOOG VOYAGER! NEED HELP WITH UPDATE

Get one of the free sysex dump tools for mac like " SysEx librarian ". Download Voyager 0s 3.6. Connect MIDI out from your computer to MIDI in on the Voyager. Send the os files to the Voyager. You can get the os files and the correct order to send them from the fifth post this thread https...

^ Probably safer than bricks and less messy than tape,

Also try starting with the envelopes set to 0 attack, 0 decay and full sustain.

Till is correct. Wiki is wrong. If you jump in the De Lorian and head back to 1997 you won't find any Moog Voyagers.

While doing that you need to hold down a note to open the gate. Any note will do.
Also make sure "ext input" is turned up. Try it at 100% to start with.

Re: Issue with Mixer out/Filter in on Voyager

My apologies if this has been answered, I have read the manual for my Voyager and I did search the forums. But I seem to be having an issue with utilising the Mixer out/Filter in input on my Voyager. Now I am using a TRS cable as the forums and manual suggests, what’s peculiar is this: Are you defi...

Re: Voyager Fine Tune

Does the display show values changing when you turn the fine tune knob ?
Do you have osc sync set to "off" on the front panel ?

Re: Voyager & MoogerFooger Signal Path?

"Best" depends on what you are trying to achieve. You will get different results connecting things in different ways. For some sounds you will have some moogerfoogfers connected to the Voyagers insert jack. For some sounds you will have the Moogerfoogers connected to the main outputs. For ...

Re: Using the EXT AUDIO IN to run softsynths through the moog filter

This would work, but only for monophonic played (= one note at a time) VST instruments. You can get some nice sounds putting chords through it. Sometimes paraphony can sound great. It's also pretty easy to multitrack one note at a time to build chords. It's worth spending half an hour trying things...

There's also the Softube one and Diva. Diva gets you other sounds as well.
Best to try a few demos and pic the one you like using the most.

Re: Panelsettings and sound om my Minimoog Voyager change spontaneously

I had this exact same problem. I sent the Voyager to Source distribution who are official Moog UK service centre. It took many months to diagnose and fix. Mainly because the fault was intermittent and could take days or weeks to show up. Firstly they replaced the power regulator and reflowed the sol...

On your audio interface make sure the inputs are set to line level and not mic or instrument.

Re: Moog Voyager Oscillator Octave Issues

I had a similar issue with my Voyager RME. It turned out to be the psu. The psu still wasn’t working correctly after having some parts replaced and all soldering redone so it got completely replaced with a new one. Took Moog repair centre several months to diagnose and fix..
