Trying to do this (Pink Floyd's On the Run) ...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bCuaYS7PzQ&feature=PlayList&p=C5001602D7272682&index=6 I feel like I can get pretty close to everything he's doing up to about minute 7. I had to bring the CP-251 into the mix so that the filter wasn't closing completely from the LP's LFO, I wasn't sure su...

I should know whether or not you can do this by now, but is it possible for the arp to trigger the envelop on every filter "step" - if so, could you used the envelops to generate the "wohmp" and have a 0 octave arp just play it over and over again at the predetermined bpm? that'd...

Oh noes. Too many stellar recommendations for the TI. I was afraid of that ... I guess I know what's next after I get a new jobbie job :-) Thanks for the input, guys! The place that I'll likely buy it from here lets folks come in and play with gear before making the purchase if they want. I'll proba...

Hah! I was about to post this exact thread! I'm looking for some poly fun to compliment my LP (and MachineDrum) for all the reasons mentioned here. I've been GASing over the Desktop TI for a while now; it just seems so solid. But I have the faint impression it's been a little type-cast to the Hi-NRG...

That seems almost like airing Moog's dirty laundry! I'm surprised you don't get insta-banned just for mentioning that

make sure the arp isn't on and waiting for an external clock source ...

maybe we should have a sticky "things that keep the LP from making noise when you might otherwise expect it it to" thread ...

If my understanding is correct, it is also true that plugging things into the KB Gate CV jack on the side panel may open the VCA, as well. I know just plugging a patch cable in (nothing on the other side) will leave it open; I believe grounding the patch will close it, and applying a voltage will op...

Umm. The buttons on my Stage II (#4040, I believe) are definitely squishy. Even a little wiggly. I can pinch them and the give a little - that said, I would also call them firm, they don't give a lot ... like other things one might refer to as firm ... and might be made out of silicon, too, I guess....
