Thanks for the reply. ICs are surface-mounted, so no chance of replacing them. Have emailed MM about a new PCB - we'll see! Too damn right I won't do that again - everything's labelled and colour-coded now!

Hi folks

Fried my new CP-251 I'm afraid, and would be grateful for any help. Plugged the wrong power supply into it the other evening by mistake (9V centre negative, not positive) and now the LED stays fully on, and the only output is a very faint, slowly rising signal. Had it apart; no visible ...

Sorted - the travel adapter I was using to convert US to UK plugs had a plastic earth pin! Typically, the other 3 I'm using would have been fine!
