Congratulations on getting the Phatty! I'm a bass player too who started playing key bass over a year ago now. I started with the Phatty. Then added a Voyager... LOL! It's addictive... I almost prefer playing key bass over real bass on a lot of gigs... the other thing is it's helped me get more work...

I'd like to know if you can update over USB rather than MIDI...

Thanks!

I'm a bass player and I would LOVE one for hip hop tracks....

But unfortunately I haven't put a deposit down... so let's see if they do another run of production

Erm... put it on a table? :)

I mean, pushing a pedal with your finger has to be easy than a button with your foot.

Keytar controllers

Hey everyone I'm looking at a Roland Keytar controller for my Voyager. The AX-7 looks the goods but is getting a little rare and pricey as it's now discontinued. I've seen these going for over a grand now. Similarly, the new AX-Synth controller retails for about the same but has some built in sounds...

I kinda agree too, when you compare the Moog site to a lot of other instrument manufacturer's websites it is fairly poor/outdated.

Not good for mobile users either

My two cents worth

EricK — just go for it man. I listened to some of the vids and yes while it's an uncommon meeting of sounds you have just as much right to experiment with the Voyager as a guitarist would with a thousand effects pedals. Plus, what you are playing sounds 'musical', you're playing melodies that are ha...

I have the whitewash voyager and I love it.

It definitely looks better in person than in photos. I have blue backlights and the standard switch colors (blue/red).

The finish is stained wood, so you can see the grain. It's not glossy at all.
