I just visited this forum specifically to find out any information on midi out. The scale/key implementation of Animoog is second to none and would be revolutionary if we could use it to control other synths, etc.

After doing some research is seems that the Axon and Roland products are the only options for me.

Has anyone ever done this successfully? If so what midi pickup/interface/guitar did you use?

I know the moog e1-m can do this but I'm not even going to consider spending $4,000 on a guitar.

Neither my local Guitar Center or Sam Ash has a Phatty anymore. I don't think the average customer knew what the hell to do with it.

I don't have a midi interface so I am gonna need the USB.

Not sure if this is mentioned before (I suppose it has) but I would be happy with voice expanders in 1U rack format instead of a new version of the Little Phatty. I own 2 LPs but there's no way I would buy 6 more to have 8 voice polyphony. I probably would buy 6 voice expanders.
