Re: Post your Old School serial number!
I'm in a bit of a bad mood today - even if a thousand were made, you'd think the QA level would be high. Just got my repair bill of £215.00 GBP ( Plus shipping ) for my VOS which is 2 months out of warranty - OSC 3 just packed up completely. This is the 2nd time it's been back - the first time it t...

Re: Post your Old School serial number!
I doubt the grand total's over 1000, but it'd be nice to know the "real" total-

Re: monophonic Farfisa
If you truly sound like the Cramps meets Human League,I'll buy your music! we'll see how it translates in recording, but it does sound pretty wild live! although, since my magic patch, it sounds a bit more 60s vs 80s- maybe I'll sneak it a bit of glide to at least bring it more toward the 70s :mrgr...

Re: The Analogue Bandwagon
I was JUST looking at this, and considering whether to post a link, considering this is the Moog forum and all- haha- 25 keys is a bit wee, but then again, the price is nice! It is a cute lil thang, eh?

Re: filter envelope fail
when you turn the "amount to filter" all the way up, are you turning the filter cutoff knob all the way down? that way you turn over control to the envelope vs the cutoff knob- and when testing this out, have your spacing set to 12-o clock, or switched to hi/lowpass- and unless you hold do...

Re: Atari 2600 fun
You guys must have been rich! haha- No, ironically the first Atari 2600 I've owned I bought in 2008! I got it via Ebay for my wife- When I was a kid in the early 80s, my mom's boyfriend attempted to win me over by lending me his , and it worked! But of course my mom had to dump him- It was a sad da...

Re: monophonic Farfisa
haha! yeah, the one I used for a bit wasn't mine- another friend of mine recently got one via Ebay that she had to get overhauled- our local synth/guitar/anything tech spent 3 months on it, finally finished it, and told her, "spread the word, 'I WON'T work on Farfisas!'"

Re: holding a note, play another up but not down.
one of my favorite features of the latest Moogs, especially when playing leads or fast sequences with one hand while knob fiddling with the otherLast key priority: the last key will pressed play the note

Re: SP warm up myth
My LP took about 10-15 minutes to be "normal", sometimes up to 35-40 in the winter- I'd always make a beeline to the stage and have it powered up before I even had my amp out of the van- If we had an opening act, or were playing a festival and I couldn't have it up there early, I'd make su...

Re: monophonic Farfisa
Well I tried it out with the band, and WOW! Spot on!! I know some may e-smirk and say "if you want a Farfisa sound, why not get a Farfisa"- Well, I've used a Farfisa before in a similar setup, and it was hard to get it to cut through the loudness of the rest of the band without being shril...
