Re: Ready to buy: waiting for new firmware?

Since I just read that four voices are enough: I also have a Vermona PerFourMer (Mk1) and a DSI Tetra here. The sound of the Vermona is absolutely amazing. It's really limited in what it can do in polyphonic mode, but the sound quality of the single oscillator and filter are so outstanding that it h...

Re: Ready to buy: waiting for new firmware?

To bridge the waiting time until a Moog One finally finds its place in my home, I bought a Korg Prologue 16. Apart from the digital oscillator, its possibilities are quite limited, but it still has a very satisfying sound for me. It is a successful polyphonic addition to my Voyager and my Taurus III...

Finally, I found it in the depths of my cloud drive. Drop me a message, if you still need the files.

Re: Fun Speaker recommendation

I would prefer a Sat/Sub system of medium size. Easy to place the satellite speakers, easy to carry around and a lot of solid bass.
I.e. something like that: https://www.ld-systems.com/en/series/da ... -xs?c=3075

Re: rack ears for Voyager RME

It should be easy to build a pair of rack ears, for someone with basic knowledge of metal work, of course. At the moment, I have an unused pair lying around. If you wish, I can take some pictures.
Greetings, Frank

Re: DSI Tetra

I have a DSI Tetra in my setup since some years. Soundwise the tetra match very well with my Moog synths, a Voyager and a Taurus III. Compared to a Moog one have to work harder to get things right, the so called "sweet spot" is remarkable smaller. The handling of the Tetra is also a little...

Re: RME - can't listen to presets without switching ENV. GAT

Did you connect the Midi Out of the Sub 37 to the Midi In of the Voyager RME?
Did you set the Midi In channel of the RME to the same as Midi Out of the Sub 37?

Re: Voyager Midi timing feels a little out compared to LP2

Also I own a Voyager RME I am more a bass guitar player. In my experience it is tolerable to have a delay of about 10-15ms and below between playing a note and hearing the sound (this means about 3 to 5 m distance to your amp, if you have an all analog amplification chain) Of course one can compensa...

Re: That T3 weight..

Two years ago I had a revival gig with my old band. It was a big stage with a huge PA-system. I am a bass player but I had also my new T3 with me. We played a lot of funky stuff and there was one part with a rap from our saxophone player supported only by a drum loop an one sub bass note (Factory so...

Re: Voyager Midi timing feels a little out compared to LP2

No problem with Midi timing here (Voyager RME). Voyager is connected via MIDI In/Out 1 of my RME HDSP 9652 PCI card. Due to the 14-bit resolution of the front-panel controls the amount of transmitted data can become very high! It is very important to avoid Midi loops. This can be done by setting the...

Re: Monitors for Voyager. Small & expensive or large & cheap

Can't stop praising my new monitor set at home: A pair of ADAM A77x. They are affordable, at least here in Germany. They producing the whole frequency band easily without the help of a sub, but they are also far from a boomy or resonating bass sound.

Re: Taurus 3 firmware update - v2.0.3

I have tested the new firmware at our band rehearsal two days ago: The MIDI Filter settings are now working for my setup (MP-201, Taurus III, DSI-Tetra) like a charm.
Big thanks to Amos and Moog for the support of an already discontinued product.

Taurus III Firmware 2.0.2 - discussion

Hi! I think it is good to start the discussion of the new Taurus III firmware with a new topic sounding more positive than "unavailable" :D First a big thank you to the people at Moog and especially to Amos for the firmware support of Taurus III pedal at the end of its production time. I d...
