Re: SUB 37 Must-Have!!!

From what I understand the SUB 37 is exactly the same size as the LP so that should work.

If anybody here wants to join my petition to DSI for a RACK release of the pot edition, be welcome.

Count me in!

I asked them about a PE upgrade kit for the rack. On July 24 Tracy replied, "Although there are no immediate plans to release a PE version of the Module, we are considering it for ...

Thanks for the suggestions and awesome sound examples.

I was first thinking of Mopho actually but I thought the semi-modular architecture might be more interesting in the long run. Especially since I already have a P'08 module. The new SEM seems really interesting too, but might be hard to get in ...

Perhaps obvious but make sure to turn effects (reverbs, delays, etc) off in your soft synths, or add the corresponding to the LP for a fair comparison.

Doepfer Dark Energy

I'm thinking this might be the perfect companion to my LP,

http://www.doepfer.de/Dark_Energy_e.htm

I suppose it would add some nice modulation options and hopefully work also as a third oscillator. Is there anyone with experience of the Dark Energy and especially interfacing it with a LP who ...

I have upgraded mine and can still hear the noise. Not sure if it's more subtle than before, but maybe.

I'm not too happy with auto mode either. Somewhat difficult to change between parameters with one hand.

Isn't that what the negative values of EGR AMNT in the filter section is for?

From the User Manual p. 13: "A positive amount will cause the Filter EG to raise the cutoff frequency, while a negative amount will cause the Filter EG to lower the cutoff."

I wonder, Portamental, if that might not just be that old "itch worth scratching" you feel

Seriously, I realise it could prove problematic but as far as I understand it all depends on how it's done.

And yes, jon_kull, it would definitely help a lot if synth manufacturers open sourced ...

Little Phatty OS as Open Source

I wonder what would happen if the Little Phatty OS was released as open source.

I for one would be very interested in helping out with the development to learn more about the inside of this fantastic piece of gear. Surely there are other LP owners who are knowledgeable in computer programming ...

A cool, weird lead patch

Thanks Greg. Being a knob tweaker that's surely a compliment! :D

Never heard of the band Japan but must check them out now for sure. I guess I had the Depeche Mode song "And then..." from Construction time again in the back of my head, but maybe that's only obvious to ...

Mod wheel range

Hi all,

I was just wondering if it is possible to set a min and max value for the mod wheel and store on patch level. I would find that very useful. I'm using a TE with OS 1.04. Thanks a lot for any advise.

(I vaguely remember seeing something about this before on the forum but couldn't find it ...
