Re: Pro Soloist patches?

I was fiddling with this last night trying to get the Fuzz Guitar sound: One Osc. with the waveform setting approx. 12:00 with slow PWM. i.e. In the Mod section, Tri/Sine (can't remember which the LP has) modulating "Wave". Adjust Amount to taste. This gets the buzzy moving sound of the Pr...

Furthermore, I am uable to get the latch function to work. http://www.moogmusic.com/manuals/LPOS20_Addendum.pdf page 13: Turning the Arpeggiator Latch ON/OFF When the Latch function is enabled in the Arpeggiator menu and the Arpeggiator is switched ON, pressing the ENTER/STORE button turns the Latc...

http://www.moogmusic.com/manuals/LPOS20_Addendum.pdf page 13: Turning the Arpeggiator ON/OFF When a preset has the Arpeggiator function enabled, you turn the Arpeggiator ON and OFF by pressing the VALUE encoder switch (Note: you must be in PRESET mode, not MASTER mode). When the Arpeggiator is ON, a...

Re: LP breath control options?

I looked up CS-01 and see it has no MIDI nor CV out. I think your reference to the CS-01 was just to say that it got you thinking about somehow controlling the LP CV inputs with BC, right? If so, a way to go might be: BC into a MIDI keyboard that supports it, or the MIDI Solutions box, then MIDI out...

Re: MIDI Mod Wheel Issues

I'm not sure I understand the issue you're describing, but the fact that the LP Mod Wheel and Filter Cutoff send 14-bit data might cause a problem for whatever is receiving the data. Have look at page 3:

Re: Moog Rogue wicked lead synth!

Was just jammin' with my new toy, the Moog 1125 Sample and Hold controlling a Minimoog and Moog Modular, while playing a lead over top with the Rogue. Sorry I misread your post. I see the 1125 is controlling a Mini and a Modular, but about 1 minute into the audio clip I hear what sounds like Sample...

Re: Moog Rogue wicked lead synth!

Wow, where did you find the 1125? Very cool, and rare. I had one many years ago. Ah, 35 years ago! I used it with my Minimoog. The Mini has the special sockets on the back panel to power the 1125. Does the Rogue have those same sockets or did you have to modify it? Hey, your Rogue sounds great. I he...

Sure would be cool to have a non-linear (i.e. exponential) glide slope option! Is that even in the realm of os?

Mod Bus CV output is past the mod wheel and amount controls, so you have realtime performance control of the modulation. I've used it to allow the LP to be a CV controller keyboard for my Future Retro XS, complete with mod wheel, and it works quite nicely. It seems like it would be more useful to h...

Acid Wash, Before you consider adding a CP-251--which is a cool addition for many other reasons--if you have a MIDI expression pedal, try plugging it into the LP's Pitch CV input and see if both oscillators track pitch together when you move the pedal up and down. On my LP, the oscillators went furt...

Re: LP OS2.2 BUGS ?

3. Tuning of oscillator 2 is flat. A calibration-procedure of OSC 2 couldn't fix this. On mine, OSC 2 tuning range will not quite get to a 5th above or below the pitch of OSC 1. At either extreme it's slightly flat of a perfect 5th, relative to OSC 1. I noticed this after upgrading to OS2.2, but I ...
