True, true....

I moderate another forum and spammers are usually edited into oblivion; usually by referring to their "nocturnal proclivities" in a suggestive manner.

Perhaps this forum should deputize some moderators to prune the spamming that intrudes from time to time.

I used to run everything from Yamaha FM polyphonics to ModCan modulars through a Marshall half stack. There'll be no problem plugging an LP in; in fact playing around with high versus low inputs will yield some interesting results.

I would observe the usual caveats though and make sure both pre and ...

Perhaps it's my Canadianess showing, but the first thing I noticed was the HBC blanket on your bed.

Nice setup though!

Here I was thinking you were soliciting ideas.

The first thing that popped into my head was one of those nice clear rubber caster wheels. I like your idea better though.

The graphic design aspect doesn't bother me nearly as much as the relatively small size (and number) of knobs and buttons. A proper Pro One style interface (both with and without keyboards, thanks!) would be ideal - and I know I'd pay for it.

I always like to put my initials at the start of a patch name that I created. Easy way to recall what was your creation and what wasn't.

Funny enough I started doing that last week after embarrassing myself with this thread.

Of course, years down the line some service tech is ...

all the factory presets are listed at the back of the manual hth

Thanks. It should've occurred to me that I had a potential ROM (Read the Owner's Manual) problem.

So it turns out it was a factory preset. Damn. That'll teach me to leave my LP turned off for a month while concentrating on ...

LP Stage: what's factory preset #95 called?

This will perhaps be the stupidest question posed all month.

In a factory-fresh LP SE, what's the name of the patch stored in location number 95? I was playing along to a song today and it melded near perfectly, but I can't recall if this was a patch I'd programmed myself, or if it's one of the 60 ...

That's the look she gives me, the "I have no idea what you're doing, as it involves neither food, nor sleep. Silly human."

So, yeah, I need a cover. One of these day's she'll realize the LP is a good FHG (feline heat generator) as well.

Living in a house with two cats causes a lot of stray fluff to stick to my synths, something I'd like to avoid.

Count me in for one, even if it's a simple vinyl item with the Moog logo screened on it (though I would prefer something more... ummm.... special).

Good song, great sound.

I can't quite nail it, but I can offer some tips:

1. Long decay on filter and volume envelopes; play around between 2:00 and 4:00 to get a bit of a tail to recreate the "tail" on Shine On

2. Moderate attack time on filter, short on volume.

3. Oscillator wave knob set ...
