Re: MOOG 1120

I think the pot inside is exact the type used as mod wheels in the vintage minimoogs …
In case you want your instrument to have the same characteristics you’ll need these .

Plus untill you need them for that , you’ll have a great looking handy pedal

Re: Final Analysis....

I think it largely depends on the availability of the servicepapers in 10 years. Without them repairs will be near impossible , with them the value probably will be a multiple of the nowadays saleprice .

Re: Moog 3band parametric Equalizer

I have a 3 band moog eq ( and many other eq’s) and i have to disagree with the last post . The moog eq is surely dfferent from he eq’s i use : t very well keeps the bass component, never thins out the sound and has when desired a nice drive/ little overdrive possibitiy . I use it with a t3 pedal and...

Re: All hail subwoofers!

I got myself a sh magnat active subwoofer for € 100 , gives me an extra octave of sound enjoyment.
From barely hearing the very low to clearly hearing and sometimes even feeling fysically that range of sound .

Re: New alliance for Moog, hopefully a great development

I would feel a whole lot more secure if at least the service manual of the moog one would be made available to users . Regarding the uncertainty, the high price and experiences with former sell of alesis (a6) to the same company ( and no positive actions ever at all towards owners of the A6) i think...

Re: New alliance for Moog, hopefully a great development

Sad news , not very promising I remember the takeover from alesis after they produced the andromeda A6 by the same company as now : never ever was anything heard from the A6 again , no availability, no service, no parts ,never ever any os upgrade at all ….( even the service manual (!) we had to aqui...

Re: Sawtooth vs Triangle Waves

As i understand it the lcd displays the setting of the knobs , it’s not an osciloscoop. your osciloscoop is a accurate waveform display, the lcd just a “slight” indication of how your knobs are set ?
It also looks great i must admit
How the lcd changes way up the keyboard is interesting .
