Re: Hans Zimmer Sub 37 Patches
Funnily enough I was thinking almost the same thing this morning when I was watching the video. I think to be honest however it will be fairly easy to replicate the sounds on the clip with a Sub 37. A few patches that I've come up with since I got my Sub 37 aren't far off several of those sounds.

Re: Sub 37 Keyboard Weight Consistency
Yes that's correct, the keys from approx F3 and above are lighter in touch response than those below that note.

Re: CTRL4
What I really like about CTRL 4 is a tip I got on the forum from Demon Dan. If for example I'm assigning the Mod Wheel at 100% to a destination such as vibrato, and I find that pushing the MW up even a little bit results in more vibrato than I'm after, I then apply a percentage to CTRL 4 which resul...

Re: Problem with sub 37 volume knob?
I reported this issue to Andy a few months ago and he said he would investigate, so I believe they're on the case about it.

Re: Sub 37 - Keyboard quality and playability
I really wanted to respond to this thread and have been waiting for the right time, to let other Sub 37 users share their experiences. Now that I've read all the posts, here are my thoughts. First of all, this is without doubt one of the best synths I've ever owned, for so many reasons. I couldn't b...

Re: Sub 37 Compare Button Glitch
I'm not sure that's a glitch, as my Sub 37 exhibits the same behaviour. If I'm editing a patch and it's not the last patch that was active, the first time I press the Compare button it switches to that previously active patch. I then enter the Bank and Preset number of the patch I'm currently editin...

Naming Presets Sub 37
I've noticed that when naming a new preset using the Fine Tune knob and the UP cursor, when I press the UP cursor to move to the next character, I occasionally get a duplicate of the previous character. This really comes in handy sometimes but seems to be unpredictable as to how and when it happens....

Re: Sub37 Preset Best Practices
I only save the patches in a bank that I'll be gigging with, to make it easier to switch between those sounds. Otherwise if I arrange by type i.e. Leads, FX etc then I have a preconceived idea of what I'm going to use that sound for and how I'm going to play it, which I find limits me because of the...

Re: Sub 37 feature suggestions - firmware updates
I wonder if it would be possible to have an option to switch the SUB 1 waveform on the Sub 37 from a square to a sine wave (on a per patch basis?) Would be great for certain types of bass sounds etc.

Re: Adding simple vibrato with MW Sub 37
Hi Dan sure enough when I checked as you suggested, the MW at its MIN position shows a value of 49. at its MAX is 127. I tried INIT settings to restore Default Midi & Global settings but it's still the same. Any ideas how to get the MW to show a value of 0 at MIN?
Many thx

Re: Adding simple vibrato with MW Sub 37
Hi Amos Yes I've been running 1.07. Any ideas why vibrato stops when the MW is at is MAX position with the Mod Wheel value at -100% in the Mod 1 Controllers page (with Mod Wheel value set to Off in the Mod 2 Control page) but has no effect i.e. vibrato doesn't stop when the MW is at its MIN position...

Re: Adding simple vibrato with MW Sub 37
Yes Mod Wheel set to off in the Mod 2 controller section. Any idea why the vibrato won't shut off when the Mod wheel is at its minimum and set at 100% but will do so when set at Max with the MW set at -100%? (This is from an INIT patch)

Re: Adding simple vibrato with MW Sub 37
Hi Vinny thanks for your reply, but no I've tried that and pulling the MW down to its MIN position with the Mod Wheel amount in the Mod 1 controllers menu set to 100% won't shut the vibrato off. But setting the Mod Wheel amount to -100% in the Mod 1 Controllers menu DOES shut it off when the wheel i...

Re: Adding simple vibrato with MW Sub 37
Forgot to add, when the Mod Wheel Control setting under Controllers for MOD 1 is set to -100% it works the other way round, in other words pushing the MW to its MAX position shuts off the vibrato, and brings it in slowly as the wheel is moved to its MIN position but this needs to be the other way ar...

Adding simple vibrato with MW Sub 37
Hi guys this question is so simple it's almost embarrassing! I've been a synth player for 20 years so hardly a newbie, but I can't get my head around something so basic on my lovely new Sub 37! Starting from an INIT patch, I'm trying to add a simple triangle wave vibrato (either to PITCH AMT or FILT...
