This is a tabletop or 1/2 rack mount device that converts the pitch and amplitude from a theremin to both MIDI and CV.

I think there are two devices you can use to determine if you like the way it sounds. They're called "ears." You're the one who has to like the way it sounds...why ask someone else? We don't know what settings you're using, and chances are we don't have the exact equipment you have. Use yo...

I believe it was the Original KEYTAR, someone correct me if I'm wrong
I think the original keytar was the Lync. The Moog, however, may have been the first which was more than a controller and also produced its own sound.

I think there is another reason for a lack of audio sine waves...they're harmonically boring. Dull. Yuck. They bore the ear. The more complex the waveform, the more interesting it is. While it is true that a few rare additive synths used sine dozens of sine waves to create interesting waves, the sin...
That's because new digital stuff sucks and old analog stuff rules!
I disagree. They are what they are. If you want the sound of an old analog, get one. If you want the sound of the latest and greatest Rolakorgaha, get a Rolakorgaha. Throughout history, real musicia...

There are several differences which resulted in my selling my standard and getting the pro: 1) The standard allows you to alter the tonality, to an extend, with a variable dial. The EPro has a switch with several standard tone qualities so you will always get the same sounds rather than being simila...

Re: Over Priced

Perhaps the problem is not so much that customers who come into your store won't buy the Voyager so much as the negative attitude of the sales people--combined with their inability to sell products--results in poor sales. I would suggest that your synth salespeople be given classes in how to sell (m...

I have heard that the problem with using tuners is that they are made for, well, tuning and not playing. They are too slow in responding. However, for just learning scales, it might be very good. For people who have been trained in piano, there is a proper way to play scales, with the thumb moving u...

Yes, a looper, I think, would make a good addition. Pamelia uses one in the "instruction" DVD for the EPro. And, in looking over information from NAMM, it looks like there will be several new loopers out there, including the return of some older names such as Repeater and JamMan. FX can be...
