:D - Well, I plugged in the m-audio uno usb to midi device (XP saw it , cool !) - plugged in the little phatty .. started up the Tribute executable downloader, selected the usb midi port, crossed my fingers and toes and hit "enter" ..... about a minute later I had an updated 1.03c Tribute ...

when all else fails , I guess one can read the manual LOL - My motion sound amp has two stereo inputs - apparently if you just feed an input with mono, it will split the signal to the two Left and Right amps ! - the other input remains OK for normal stereo feed - looks like I have a simple solution ...

Thanks for all the quality responses (unit # 1032 here) - I am correct that auto calibration can only be done with the 1.03c upgrade, right ? (running 1.02c now)

Hi - saw some posts related to this, but they seemed a little out of date - so here goes .. Just got my Tribute #1032, version 1.02c - I let it warm up, but still (to my ear) several of the patches do not seem right until I do a minor tweak to OSC 2 FREQ (thank you Bob, Snappy lead, Brass) - realize ...

just got my Tribute today !! bought from an avid moog collector and vintage keyboard guy who never had taken it out of the box !!
number 1032 !!!!! - version 1.02c - think I have a strange OSC2 "detune" problem, but that is for a different thread

hay all - thanks for the replies ... will look into the Murf pedal .. I really don't think the Y connect will work with the amp (will have to check the schematics) since it will then be tieing the "hots" together .. which would make me loose the stereo on my other boards going into the amp .. thus ...

Hi all - very excited to be receiving my Tribute tomorrow (bought from an original owner who never took it out of the box due to too many other moogs, toys, etc !!) - Very excited to have this new synth and realize I will have to do the OS upgarde (hope all goes well) and looking forward to posting ...
