Slim Phatty - Percussion controller

Hey all,

Anybody know of a percussion controller with control outs for pad sensitivity, among other things? Kind of interested in being able to shift parameters of analog drum sounds as they are played like an actual drum, without the use of an expression pedal

Select Series - Black Cabinet

Hey guys, When the Select Series came out they had a solid black cabinet as an option... It seems to have disappeared, however. Seeing as I am getting closer to finally making my investment, I am a little disappointed at the fact that my preferred cabinet color appears to no longer be available. Doe...

The thing is, signs of wear and age are getting to be a bit of a p...

I always thought the "overlay" on the voyager didn't really feel like 3K$ value.

Oh yeah, right at the beginning of the interview with Jools later, Jools says

"What a beautiful setup!"

and Jack replies:

"Why thank you, I painted it myself."

Jack White is a minimalist. He often admits how he likes to work in a small box, limiting himself and using that as a huge creative outlet. I've never been a fan of virtuosos, ever. To me, they just seem very over confident and just wailing on their guitar/synth/drums/bass etc. for hours on end. The...

Re: Pitch/Modulation Wheels...

[quote="Sidewind"]Is it just me or does anyone else also find the wheels used for pitch and modulation difficult to use? I find them too slick and especially find the pitch wheel tension way too hard. I normally am the guy who likes wheels over a joystick, but the pitch wheel is almost use...

Andy Moog

I don't know if he's been mentioned before but... Andy Moog was a hockey goaltender for the Edmonton Oilers when they first became a team. He was the backup goalie to Grant Fuhr. He was an excellent goaltender, as Fuhr and Moog are still recognized today as the most effective goalie pair ever in the...

April Fool's! I'm pretty sure!

The picture of the moogerfooger doesn't look real Someone photoshopped the whole thing off of an old fooger. Also... "Ships on April 1st".... definitely an April fool's joke.

So you're paying more for some wood panels, whereas you get more for the cheaper one?
